    Working for a large computer repair company within the UK i know the pain of no recovery disks :(, also your idea of installing 7 and doing the upgrade won't work sadly :( Ive tried it at work and all to no avail :( and companies do it because tbh we should be stupid with how to use laptop and never even look inside one ! :P

    It says no lower then a 600W PSU on the box so most likely up too 120-200watts full load??

    Ok guys im amazed that people are so interested in making this game, lets make it happen! the tower defense sort of idea sounds good and also with a twist such as looking after the base to improve performance

    err well i've herd cloning from a SSD to A HDD causes issues for it so i normally recommend that you try backing it on to a DVD and doing that way!, you may have to go down the dangerous road of P2P to get the windows 8 disk :O

    Personally yes and it couldn't of gone smoother you need to get a copy of windows 8 make sure you have windows 8 or windows 8 pro and also backup anything you want safe go to advance the drive should pop up saying ssd and hard drive wipe the hard drive clean and install it on the ssd I didn't even have to put the serial code in! Oh yeah download a serial key reader just in case your machine does not remember the code, also write a review on how it goes :) hope this helps

    Thanks pixxie that would be really useful thanks And I love that idea nort being able to create a game and upgrade the pc to help defend and certain parts work better then others but I think that would be a different project to what I have in mind :)

    Well the HP does have coolsense so it will stay cooler during use and also it has a longer battery life because its an APU (6 hours quoted) compared to 4 with the Acer

    Well im studying programming currently not lots but a little bit and im quick learner, its a simulation game based around simple 16 bit games such as theme hospital :) and im not totaly sure what the best language would be for this sort of thing the reason why ive asked the forum for help plus the forum is the place to be to get this sort of stuff off the ground :)

    There is also the need to send all that data through a mobile network, 4K it self is HUGE so steaming will require a fast speed to keep up without being all jumpy and gappy!

    I understand what your saying but you gotta think. With 4K content coming out how long till people want to steam 4K over their cellular network?

    Samsung have just said that they plan release 5G mobile internet for customers in 2020. This wireless technology is looking at around 1Gbps Down!! which is insane for a mobile devices although with 7 years from now im sure home broadband will be standard at that speed. To get this speed the hardware required so far are a 28 GigaHertz waveband and also 64 antenna elements which also for the singles to be revived how they will do this is not known.     I have an idea for a game which i think would be very popular as an indie game but then again what do i know, if anyone would like to know about it i have a game concept and a few brain storms ready to read feel free to message me about them :)
