  1. Yeh the main concern for me is my 2080 Super is current heavily bottle-necked by my 6600K. And me being a genius and not doing enough research on OCing, I've been using MSI z170 M7 mobo Game Boost OC, where it feeds a stupid amount of volts to hit 4.5ghz, and my cpu been chowing down on tat much voltage for years. Buying a 6700k/ 7700k is abit mad, prices are quite ridiculous for an old chip =( Ryzen 4000 series is really tempting but the stipulated date is like Q4 2020, and for z490 news prob next week but by the time its out and rolling prob in April 2020. Thank you all for the advise. At the end of the day, there is always a next best thing down the road, hard to keep waiting and waiting hahah!
  2. My Rig currently i5 6600k MSI z170 M7 RTX 2080 Super RAM 16X2 3200Mhz Corsair Dominators Corsair RM850 (Yellow Label) The plan was to upgrade to a 3900x with x570 Aurous Xtreme, but there since been news on z490 platform and made my heart waiver for a bit. I mainly only game, but i do run my games in multi clients hence I took 3900x, 3950x is constantly out of stock. Seeking advise and opinions from the community.
  3. Thanks fellas!!! Now the next thing is which x570 should i be getting, big on MSI boards but reviewers been complimenting on Aurous boards for their vrms n bang for buck. (Though initially i was planning to get Auros Xtreme cause of the passive chipset cooling)
  4. Just like to ask, build guides on youtube n etc always seem to be 3600mhz kits for x570 platform. Unfortunately i bought a 3200mhz Corsair dom kit prior to Ryzen 3 release. Would I gimp out the platform if i use a 3200mhz kit? Or is it recommended to switch to a 3600mhz kit? Thanks ><!
  5. For a new card, I don’t think it should have problems like these though. Even a increase +50 gpu core and +50 memory clock causes it to fail
  6. As I mentioned, it just crashes :( At default it already shows 90% confidence
  7. Hi guys, I've recently got MSI 2080 Super X Trio and tried to OC it manually (Since scanning it on either Precision or Afterburner just crashes). The best i got is +80 GPU, +100 Memory, 114% Power Limit, ran through Timespy once but failed the 2nd round. Just wondering is there any issue with my card or oc method, as my previous Gigabyte 2080 WF3 OC i could clock it up to +121 Gpu, +700Memory and 109% power. My current rig i5 6600k OC 4.5ghz z170 Msi M7 Mobo 950 Pro Samsung m.2 250gb Corsair Rm 850 ML 360 Cooler master. MSI 2080 SUPER X Trio
