  1. Get a 1pcie slot ddr4 - Base ddr4 is faster than 3, yes you don't see it in games but still its better to have higher minimum fps - you probably wont be using 2 gpus inb that budget anyway if you do want a better one later on save money and sell the one you bought
  2. There was rumors of skylake-e with 3xxx pins and has 6-channel memory, but last time i heard about that was months ago and its release date will be like after 2 years if you compare it to previous extreme processors
  3. You forgot something like your elementary school name? Lol Yes i know there's like 8 other options but how can you forget a personal question like that
  4. Gorgeous you say? That phone looks awful. They overdid it way too much
  5. Almost no difference between 100fps and 144, just let it be unless it's a problem in more games
  6. Gigabyte oc branded mobos There's some asrock ones too
  7. Both are good. Just one side has more money
  8. Pretty sure it burned because the mobo couldn't handle the CPU (4+1vrm without cooling). Not an expert in amd so I won't suggest anything
  9. If gaming is your priority (since you listed it first) get the 6700k. I doubt you'll care about the extra 2-10 minutes of rendering or like another half hour of compressing (if you're talking 200GB). Get a cheaper mobo aswell since i don't think you need the 200 euro mobo. But the 6800k will be some sort of future proofing for future apps that your going to do / cpu intensive games Personally id get the 6700k and spend the other cash for a gift to my parents but either are good, just one side will have more money I don't know much about the developing software so i won't say anything though but just for my curiousity, what are you developing? Edit: if your going x99 might aswell get quad channel ram and not dual
  10. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Athlon-II-X4-860K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-750/3265vs2773 They are about the same (stock speeds), the i5 750 on 3.7ghz is obviously faster by a lot
  11. 1. - 2. Sli 1080 / wait for 1080ti / if you don't need it now wait for Vega and compare 3. You know what a cpu bottleneck is right? It's when the cpu is 100% so videocard is outputting less frames, making it slower. The tests must have been on games like tomb raider where a strong cpu is almost not needed. The i5 750 is probably weaker than a pentium today but dont quote me
  12. Why do you need 16gb of ram? Cut to 8, remove watercooler and upgrade to lga1151 ddr4 skylake i3
