  1. I followed these steps: Put the wireless router in modem's DMZ DMZ (demilitarized zone) is a common feature of router that allow to chose one client to which all traffic is forwarded. If your modem supports DMZ, this might be solution for you: 1. Find out the WAN address of wireless router. For this you might need to log in to the WiFi router admin interface and look at the Status page (most router's have status pages which show relevant information about the WAN connection). 2. Log in to the modem web administration interface, find the DMZ settings and put the WiFi router's IP WAN address there. Will this fix the issue?
  2. So I should just turn off DHCP on the ASUS router?
  3. Hi! I'm from Australia and I have an ADSL2+ plan with Telstra. I have a Telstra Gateway Max TG799vac Modem Router and a ASUS RT-AC87U AC2400 Router. My current setup is where the I've disabled the Wifi on the Telstra modem router and connected my Asus router to it via an ethernet cable. So now the Telstra Modem Router acts as a modem only and the router handles the Wifi. This, however, creates a Double NAT issue and I need some help eliminating this. I've tried disabling NAT on the Telstra modem router (now just a modem) and Asus router in two different occasions and both times the internet stopped working and I'm scared of messing with the settings until I know what I'm doing. Also will Double NAT affect my internet speeds? If so, by how much?
  4. I did consider it but too weak in terms of specs...(even the highest end one)
  5. iMac (Late 2009), iPod Touch (4th Generation), Nexus 7, iPhone 5 and iPad Air.
  6. True! i hear it is terrible atm, but its bound to get optimised soon. P.S. I would most likely make this purchase sometime in September..
  7. I personally don't want to tinker as much. I just want a stable and reliable platform to start doing some proper editing. P.S. Just occasional gaming; not my main focus...
  8. I want to start learning code. I already know a bit of HTML, or more accurately knew, as I forgot most of it. I want to learn java and Objective-C (or Swift). What is the most effective way to learn it? I've been using http://www.codeacademy.com but is there any other solutions?
  9. The hackintosh concept was highly intriguing to me but because of the hardware limitations, compatibility stuff and riskiness, I discarded it.
  10. I've been wanting to learn how to use adobe after effects for CGI work, Adobe Premiere and Speedgrade (I currently use Final Cut Pro for general editing) and I'm also interested running a few games on the side (with windows bootcamp, of course) and one of my strongest contenders is the Mac Pro other than of course building a PC. Any Suggestions? Use Case: Heavy Editing and very light gaming (I'm mainly a console gamer). I also have great experience with Mac OSX, so yeah. Those are the facts...
  11. Planning to get Razor Deathadder 2014 and Ducky Shine 3 Cherry MX Blues.
