  1. All right guys, thank you for the help! I am thinking I want to go hard line, so at the moment I will hold off buying this kit, and I will just save up to go full custom later, my air cooling is fine for now even in the summer heat, and being able to upgrade/ swap parts on a whim is definitely worth the wait/ premium. Or who knows, by the time I have the money maybe ek will have released a hard line upgrade kit. I'll wait and see!
  2. All right thanks, The PrimoChill Revolver SX fittings are definitely Brass/ Nickel in the barb portion. It looks like I will have to stick to flexible tubing if I use this kit.
  3. Hello there I have become very interested in EK Waterblock's a240g kit, which is basically a full watercooling kit for a "Custom" loop. Although I am very interested in doing a rigid tubing loop, and as such I would need to use PrimoChill Revolver SX fittings, which are Nickel plated brass. Would the brass/ Nickel Cause corrosion alongside the Aluminum waterblocks/ radiator?
  4. Hello there everyone, my family has recently upgraded to 100mbps, and as such, our old wireless network is not exactly cutting it. The new router that came with our installation is decent enough, but we have many devices connected and streaming at a time, which causes disconnects/ lag. On the Ethernet I get a strong 93-90 mbps depending on the location through the house, where-as the Wi-fi I am lucky to get 25mbps. I don't have enough of a budget to get a full Ubiquity wifi package, So I am in need of some pointers. My current set up is the main router - > 24 port Ethernet switch-> which then runs to most rooms in the house. In the basement there is also an old tp link router I use as an access point for myself and my brother. Would I be better off using the main router for the upstairs wifi, and one Ubiquiti Networks Unifi Dual-Radio PRO on the other side of the house? Or would it be better to have two TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Wi-Fi Access Points and make a sort of triangle around the house utilizing my main router? Or would it be better to just get something like a TP-Link Archer C7 to use as a second access point? I would very much appreciate some help! I am so tired of everyone moaning about the wifi. Thank you for your time, Silent
  5. Newegg accepts Paypal, here are the links to the same wifi cards: $13 One, $17 one. Also if you prefer Ebay they have a store there as well so... $13 One, $17 One As for the pcie adapter, as long as you have the drivers for the card you want to use, it should work in theory. Only way to know for sure is to try it, I don't have experience with adapting Laptop pcie peripherals to desktop.
  6. I have used (Amazon Link to TP-Link N150 Wireless PCI-Express Adapter) in past builds for clients who needed wifi, as long as you have a pcie slot free I've never had a problem. Just don't expect ethernet speeds. TP-Link N300 would be even better, but will cost more like $20.
