Hi guys, I'm in dire need of help. About a month ago, I think my computer reset (don't know how or why, since I didn't do anything to prompt it). Now every time I start my computer, it runs through the windows set up thing that you get when you install windows onto a new computer. When I finally get in (and it takes forever to load into desktop), I can't open anything at all. Lots of apps and programs are missing, I can't open an internet browser, etc. After some fiddling, I discovered that my files are all still there, but I get a lot of pop up error notifications.
System Restore wont even start at all. I don't really want to re-install windows, but that's probably my only option right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know whats going on... I've never encountered a problem like this before.
