  1. why should it need to ground? My internal hasn't any metal connections with the case or psu
  2. Hey, I opened my external HDD because I was feeling some current on the usb-cable, when I pressed it against my fingers (only with the outside, not with the pins). On the inside I noticed a little bracket (metal), which was mounted on top of the usb-connector to the metal cover ove the actual HDD. Does anybody know what that's for? http://imgur.com/a/FG5l8
  3. I had a similar problem 2 weeks ago (I also wanted to lower the VCore and then the pc wouldn't post) but my error code was 41. Not sure what I did to fix it but I let the pc sit at that stage (switched on) for several minutes and then cleared the cmos (still powered on). When it is stopping again (with the same code) I pressed the reset button and let it sit again. After some time the monitor switched on and everything worked as usually.
  4. I overclocked my 6700k yesterday (4.7ghz) and I use adaptive +0.03V and for boost Voltage 0.25V -> aida shows that it's around the 1.27V
  5. Hey, I recently moved to win10 and installed some Games. But multiple games need the Tages-Driver (http://www.tagesprotection.com/). Espacially the game Anno needs it. Windows warns me about incompatibility and doesn't install it. -> Games with this protection don't work. Any suggestions?

  15. Hello, Yesterday I build a PC and it worked fine until this morning. I looked in the uefi and it showed me 1.4V Core and I wanted to lower it to 1.2V. As it didn't boot that time I tried to reset and clear the cmos, Sometimes the board boots but wants to do a Setup with a reboot which fails. Bow it only says 41 as a Post-Code but in the manual I can't find the code. PLEASE help

  18. I'm building myself a new Skylake system (6700k) and was going for a 390 (from Sapphire). On their website it says that a 750w psu is recommended but I already have a 650w (Corsair rm) sitting here and don't want to buy a new one. I also would like to overclock my system (at least a small bit). So my question is: Is my 650w psu enough to fit my system and to be stable?
  19. what about a zotac? I never heard anyone choosing them.
