  1. I'd like to get one of them Kiro! My brother is a big gamer and has been using the crappy wireless mouse that came with the computer. I would love to get him a nice mouse like those!
  2. I just did that. It's formatting the new partition now, but it's 5am... I'll test it again in the morning. Thank you for your help! I'm sorry I am such a noob
  3. It output this: Virtual disk service error: The specified disk is not convertible.
  4. I got it all sorted out on my own. But windows said it can't use it because it's gpt partition?
  5. Delete didn't work, it just says DISK PARTITION VOLUME If I try any of those it says it can't do it
  6. The partitions are non ntfs, so windows can't use them.
  7. All the partitions are non ntfs so windows can't use all but 512MB of it.
  8. I installed Ubuntu on my new computer because I couldn't get a windows product key. Now I can't install windows on my ssd... can anyone help?
  9. I wish it were that simple! I thought about a VM, but my current computer has problems running notepad..... I think I'm going to go with the free trial of windows and get a product key when I have a little extra money. Then when I want to, I will try the VM on my new system later. Thanks for all the help!
  10. Well, the only linux I've used is on my Raspberry Pi. I'm eventually going to have windows on my new computer no matter what. But I did kind of want to try Ubuntu out, maybe I could put that on my laptop? Is there a way to install more than one OS? That way if I don't like it, I could go back to Windows?
  11. Like I said, I'm new to this. So, buying a key off Reddit would be the same as buying one from Microsoft?
  12. I am building a new computer for myself and need some help with the OS... Should I wait the extra month it would take me to buy a full version of Windows? Could I install Ubuntu on for the time being until I can get Windows? Or maybe, could I use the key from my laptop's Windows to get my new computer running Windows right away and then change the OS on my laptop to Ubuntu? (I'm sure it's not that simple) I'm really new to all of this and need a lot of help... I need my new computer to be running as soon as possible after I get the last components of the build. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

  14. I signed up, but now I can't log in... When I click on "Log In," it brings up a separate sign-up box. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?
