  1. the KEFs don't really need one, at least for my tastes. I'm more of a lossless audio nut than a gamer audio nut. That's the the phones are for.
  2. http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/H-2484-MTOP/Packing-Tables/Replacement-Table-Top-96-x-30-Maple Sorry I overestimated, it was about $400 all in. Thought the top was $400.
  3. 96" wide, 30" deep, 30" tall adjusted.
  4. haha. I really mean drink spill proof.
  5. I have had probably a dozen desks in my time. Ikea sorta mecahnical style, standard desks, "executive" desks. They all pretty much sucked. What I really needed was a long desk, 7' and deep, 32" or so and adjustable. The best thing I found where I didn't have to build it myself was a workbench top from ULINE. It's pretty nice for a big top of wood formed together, I think it's maple. I then got some adjustable legs from Ikea. All I had to do was strip off the ULINE varnish top coat and stain it to what I wanted, which adds a nice custom touch. All together it wasn't cheap, maybe 400 bucks but at least I have what I've wanted for a long time. A large desk that looks nice and is bulletproof and adjustable.
  6. Did you pay with a credit card? Why can't you go to where you bought it and ask them for a copy of the receipt?
  7. 980 ti vote here as well.
  8. 970 all day long. Best bang for the buck.
  9. no you need a router with a switch. read post 10. This might be too much for you. Maybe it's better you just get an external USB drive.
  10. you can. That's what a NAS is. You said connect it directly to my computer. That it cannot do.
  11. It's not internet, it's internal network. You can get a USB drive and attach it but in my experience those that have gone down that road get lazy after awhile, then wish they had something better.
  12. no you have to plug it into a network switch or router that has a switch. Then you enable cloudstation on the NAS and install the client on your computer, choose the folders you want to sycn then you're done. Never have to touch a thing again.
  13. click the 4TB model and you'll get more reviews. Synology is VERY popular. This is meant to attach to a network btw. As for drives, it's up to you and what you need for space. I'd recommend WD Reds. Example:
  14. I'd get a synology 2bay NAS and toss 2 drives in it. http://www.amazon.com/Synology-America-DiskStation-Attached-DS215j/dp/B00PTGJ6XC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423456427&sr=8-1&keywords=DS215j With CloudStation it backs up all the time. You never know it's doing it plus it can do all sorts of other cool stuff. Host music for example. It can do movies also but this model probably not that well.
  15. 840/850 EVO Pro is a waste of money. I own both EVOs and Pros.
