Oh! I would have to buy that even if I planned on using an XLR mic instead? I don't plan on using the headset microphone at all, so I didn't think I had to separate them. Or is that not the case?

Would I need an amp or anything to make my headphones and speakers work while plugged into this mixer? Sorry I know literally nothing about audio stuff.

Hi everyone! I just got a really cool mixer for Christmas and was hoping for some help on what adaptors I would need. Hi everyone! I've been looking into upgrading my microphone setup for quite some time now as all I've been using is a fairly weak, in my opinion, headset microphone. I want to use it for talking to friends over discord/TeamSpeak and recording voice overs for a project my buddy is doing. So I don't really need one that's for extremely refined singing or anything. However, I know basically nothing about this entire area so I was wondering if y'all could help me out in deciding which microphone/setup to get? Is it okay to use the intel one even though I have an AMD chip?

I put the temps in the original post. Do they look okay? I haven't stress tested yet. Do you know any good tests?

Because it starts to smell like melting plastic and then the entire PC acts like it loses power and crashes. It only happens after several hours of me working on different programs.
