  1. Thanks! Also thanks for that Amazon link in case I ever need to use my headset mic!
  2. Oh! I would have to buy that even if I planned on using an XLR mic instead? I don't plan on using the headset microphone at all, so I didn't think I had to separate them. Or is that not the case?
  3. Would I need an amp or anything to make my headphones and speakers work while plugged into this mixer? Sorry I know literally nothing about audio stuff.
  4. Really? Yay! So it doesn't matter that the adaptor for the headphones is trs and the adaptor for the speakers are ts? They should both work with those outputs?
  5. Hi everyone! I just got a really cool mixer for Christmas and was hoping for some help on what adaptors I would need. I got this mixer from my parents, https://www.amazon.com/Freeboss-UM-33-Channel-Playback-Interface/dp/B01K1RFK6A , but my current headphones and speakers done work with it. My headphones are the hyper X cloud 2, would this adaptor work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000068O3T/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 My speakers are cheap speakers from goodwill with rca connectors. Would this adaptor work? https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-GPR-101-inch-Adaptors-pieces/dp/B000068O3S My main concern is I don't know what the difference between trs and ts is. I also don't know which one else of those would work for my mixer. Thanks so much! Merry Christmas!
  6. Hi everyone! I've been looking into upgrading my microphone setup for quite some time now as all I've been using is a fairly weak, in my opinion, headset microphone. I want to use it for talking to friends over discord/TeamSpeak and recording voice overs for a project my buddy is doing. So I don't really need one that's for extremely refined singing or anything. However, I know basically nothing about this entire area so I was wondering if y'all could help me out in deciding which microphone/setup to get? I've found a few different products on Amazon but really don't know the advantages of each one. I do know that I would like a XLR mic so if I ever get an audio interface I can just plug into that. So I'm not really looking at the blue snowball or yeti. Anyway here are the 3 sets that look promising to me so far. I'm looking to get the mic, boom arm, shock mount, pop filter, and phantom voltage power supply thing. Parted together set from multiple places on amazon at $81: https://www.amazon.com/Floureon-Condenser-Recording-Broadcasting-Microphone/dp/B00Q4RGQHY https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ACFAULC/ref=pd_aw_sim_267_of_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FH77CJ1G4TEZC66TV3VF https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01FJABIEM/ref=zgm_bs_11974591_11?ie=UTF8&sr=1-11π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EK1OTZC/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_boErJ_p267_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=D3JACWNWE1CHBNBS1J4S&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=76df79ce-4cee-58c5-8d4f-d5ca2c705ee7&pf_rd_i=11973521 Neewer set for $55: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D4KYRYC/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_267_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5ESFQ8R842JVC0H68PX2 Floureon set for $78~: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KPKCJ2G/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_267_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5ESFQ8R842JVC0H68PX2 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EK1OTZC/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_boErJ_p267_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=D3JACWNWE1CHBNBS1J4S&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=76df79ce-4cee-58c5-8d4f-d5ca2c705ee7&pf_rd_i=11973521 https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-8Feet-Professional-Microphone-Female/dp/B013JVKWJU/ref=pd_sim_267_30?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B013JVKWJU&pd_rd_r=ZT6PVFD6KA3C59K97GK9&pd_rd_w=XH2pB&pd_rd_wg=MyzMl&psc=1&refRID=ZT6PVFD6KA3C59K97GK9 Also for pc specs that this will be running off of can be found on pcpartpicker here: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ShamusFTW/saved/92kLkL Those are the three I've found but I'm more than happy to get any kind of advice in going for a different product! I also can't find any good tests out there that can tell me whether this Neewer mic is better or worse than this Floureon mic. I'm also most likely going to wait till Black Friday/Cyber Monday to get some great deals on it but $60~ is around the max I can spend on everything put together. Thanks for any help y'all can give me!
  7. I'd love to have the Stealth! I've been getting into art and would love such an amazing laptop to replace my super old school laptop. Thanks for the chance! Also Congrats on the milestone!!
  8. Hi all! I'd frankly love either mouse! However my preference would be the Kova. Hopefully I can get chosen! Thanks!
  9. I like my Redragon mouse! It was like 10 bucks cause it came in a bundle with a keyboard.
  10. Is it okay to use the intel one even though I have an AMD chip?
  11. I put the temps in the original post. Do they look okay? I haven't stress tested yet. Do you know any good tests?
  12. Because it starts to smell like melting plastic and then the entire PC acts like it loses power and crashes. It only happens after several hours of me working on different programs.
