Knowing's Achievements

  1. Can I get my username changed to Avax? If so, thank you!
  2. Yeah, skype is releasing a web application soon which might stop the resolving.
  3. So, I was messing around in Linux all day and realized my drive space going down. I was uninstalling all of the distros and restoring my MBR. My question is, since all of these aren't being used can I safely delete them and add them back to my drive?
  4. Hey, I was wondering if anyone who used XMPP or Peerio wanted to add me? I wanted to get some new contacts in them. Peerio: cco XMPP: kwng@uprod.biz Also, what have been your experiences with the XMPP protocol? (I don't think this is advertising?)
  5. I don't play him for fun. I play him to troll. Also, Lee Sin isn't hard if you can click the right keys in a combo.
  6. Lucian and the new champion Bard. :3
  7. Yeah. For now on, it's a good idea to use sudo in front of commands when installing/changing files.
  8. Do you have a root account? Remember sudo in the terminal. If neither work, run sudo passwd rootIf you want to disable it.sudo passwd -l root
  9. Ah boy... Craigslist is the worst. Someone is trying to sell a old 2004 monitor/dell keyboard for $2000 without the "windows drive".
  10. The only pro to having a laptop is portability. Just build a desktop.
  11. Still applies? When you dualboot linux, most distro's (mainstream) install GRUB which is a boot loader.
  12. Idea #1: No, don't. Linux isn't anywhere it needs to be to be fun. Most games that'll you want won't be supported unless untiler much later after release if at all. Idea #2: I guess you could do that. I don't understand why you want to just play a game, then shutdown your computer, and then start it back up to boot into linux. SLI is good now. I don't know about Gysnc for linux My reason for having Ubuntu GNOME: I work on making scripts and web applications which Linux is need for. (Python is shit on windows. Most packages for it are only on linux)
