  1. Rig Name: First Gaming PC CPU: i5-2320 GPU: GTX 960 2GB SC (only overclock adjustment) RAM: 8GB DDR3-1333
  2. Sorry for the late reply, didn't get the chance to test it until morning. VSync does nothing to alleviate the issue. Today, I was running the Valley benchmark at Ultra 768p (No AA) just to see how many average FPS my graphics card would get in it (50-60ish). Then, I went to play WWE 2K15, and the framerate refused to go above 15, even though from a cold boot it gets 60FPS solid.
  3. Hi there, I got a GTX 750 Ti Single-Fan 2GB installed into my PC a few months back, and I figured out how to fix framerate issues, just a some more thermal paste on the CPU and new fans in the case. It was overheating. I have a new issue that might be related. Whenever I play a game for a long duration, and then switch over to another game, the game or my GPU will cap the game to 30FPS and have drops below 30, even though when I start it from a cold boot it will get 60FPS solid with VSync. After a little while it will go back to 60 and everything is fine. Why is it doing this, is it overheating?? Like I mentioned, it will do fine if I wasn't doing anything intensive prior, and it will go up after a while. For example, I was playing about 2-3 hours of Left 4 Dead 2 at Very High settings with 4X MSAA at 768p 60HZ, but then I switched over to Sonic Generations at High settings with FXAA at 768p 60HZ, but the framerate would never go above 30 and would have frequent dips into the lower teens until about half an hour later. The game normally holds a solid 60FPS with very minor drops into the mid-50's when loading new areas. If it helps, here's my specs: i5-2320 (3.0GHZ Quad-Core) Generic Acer Motherboard from a prebuilt (all I can say about it is it's from a Gateway DX4860-UB33P) 8GB DDR3-1333MHZ RAM GTX 750 Ti Single-Fan 2GB (overclocked 228MHZ from base and 305MHZ from memory, most stable overclock I could get it to without artifacting, also has 50% fan speed) 1TB HDD 500W Cooler Master (don't remember model) power supply
  4. Haha, yeah. It's the Gateway DX-4860-UB33P. I've barely been able to find any info on this PC (since it was a present from a family member, since they were getting rid of their old one, they said it's from Best Buy), so that hasn't really helped. I've done the Windows 7- Windows 10 thing, but I may reinstall the OS.
  5. I have had two cards, a Zotac single fan 750 Ti, and an EVGA single fan 750 Ti. For some strange reason, while games only got 20-below frames per second, only 20% max GPU usage would happen, and usually it would crash. Also, in EVERY game, the textures are only stuck at low, even if I crank it up to Ultra 8XMSAA (where the game SHOULD crash), it would still be treated as a graphics changed never happened.
  6. I think I've checked way too many times at this point. Yes, yes it is. Like I said, this issue has been ongoing since June or so. I've had a Zotac 750 Ti previously, suffering this same issue, I thought it was the card, but it's not.
  7. Most games say I'm using a "Generic Card" or whatever, which is really strange because I turned off integrated graphics, and I have the latest drivers too.
  8. One of my friends have a similar CPU (I know it's in the i5-2 line of CPU's) and a 650 Ti, but he's at LEAST able to get 720p low 60fps, like I am trying to obtain.
  9. I got my GTX 750 Ti a few months ago, but it's been getting only 20 or so FPS in EVERY game I test on low (including BF4, Crysis 3, even less intensive games like Sonic Generations). I've tried everything including overclocks, repositioning, tinkering with the settings everyone recommended, etc. Is it possible this lies in the motherboard? My PC is a: i5-2320 Generic Acer Motherboard (it's a Gateway DX-4860-UB33P) 8GB DDR3-1333 GTX 750 Ti 2GB (single-fan) 500W PSU (it's a Cooler Master, I can't remember what the model is specifically) 1TB HDD I added the PSU and the 750 Ti myself.
  10. Yes. I've gone into the NVIDIA Control Panel and forced it into Maximum Performance, and I forced my Windows (Windows 10 Home Preview Build, but these are reoccurring issues from my Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium) into Max Performance too. This is something with the PCI-E idle stuff.
  11. It's a prebuilt Gateway MoBo. It's incredibly restrictive, giving me only the options to enable/disable Intel tech like Turbo Boost and stuff.
  12. Yes. Done that. Worse performance. BF4 barely let me into the single player campaign at like 15fps. Also, this is my second 750 Ti. I had a Zotac 750 Ti doing the same thing.
