  1. Why did I? I think the questions should be why I didn't for the past, however many years, I suffered with consoles. I was sick of my slow netbook and I was already subbed to Linus and Logan, so I saved up, and built myself a PC.
  2. I'll try mounting it at the bottom/front and see, I'll have the fans pushing that should bring the rad 25mil closer, might just ease any tension on the pipes. But if it comes down to: I can't mount it at the bottom/front, I can live with 5-10 degree increase, (It'll still be better than what I'm getting now) It's pretty flexible, I might have to remove to both HDD cages but I only have one HDD (and if I were to upgrade it would be to an SSD) so it's not a problem. --- Ok, thanks guys, I have an idea now, of what the best possible setups are. I guess I'll mark it as solved. (Also, wish me luck with the watercooling, I know it's a closed loop but still =P )
  3. This would seem to be the best way, but would the pipes on the H100i reach the CPU? And if I were to do this, I guess I'd have to use an adaptor to I can put my HDD in one of the optical bays. Option 3 seems to be the more popular one as it does follow the standard way of setting up your fans... Although I'm not a huge fan of the hot air going through the rad. How much would that affect the efficiency, or does it even matter? (I know it would still take the heat away from the coolant, which is what you want, but wouldn't cool air be better?)
  4. Hi, I've been meaning to upgrade my cooling for my system for a while, as it's not the best. I plan on getting a Corsair H100i along with a 750D. And, I'm at a loss at what fans should be doing what... Here are some diagrams of the possible configs. I have in my head. (they're probably horribly wrong) 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) This one I just thought of as I was making the thread, and would probably be the one I would go with, but, meh, I ain't an expert. Possible issues with no. 4+5, are if I were to have my PSU facing down, it could possibly suck the exhaust air from bottom. And with no. 5, would the GPU (ASUS 7850 DCUii) get adequate cool air? (Bear in mind there are no side fans) Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this. And also thanks for any help. =D (Edit: I forgot to mention I'll be using 2x AF120's and 2x SP120's by Corsair as well as the included case fans.) (Edit2: I thought putting it in the water cooling section may have been the best place for it, as it's the rad that is making me wonder what would be to best config. (sorry if I was wrong))
  5. Ok thanks. Umm any idea what might have caused this?
  6. P.s No, I do not have a back up of my HDD, because I am a fool and an idiot... And it isn't a virus, I'm very carefull in that area...
  7. Hi, so let me appologise in advanced for grammar and spelling, since I am on my phone for reasons I am about to tell you. So I was dusting out my PC with an air duster, just where ever was dusty, and yes I was being careful, I think. So I finished dusting, put the side panel back on, and as I was turning on my pc, when I logged on it was saying "Welcome" for a few minutes (usually for a few seconds) and when it logged on it was laggy, slow and refused to shut down properly, so I had to use the power button When I turned it on again, it was Stuck on "Starting Windows" I turned it off again... Next time I selected repair, or something, (There was no safe mode option...) And is now stuck "Attempting repairs... Repairing disk errors..." I'm just wondering some things 1) is it safe to turn it off right now? ( will I lose anything on my HDD?) 2) How do I fix it? Without lossing any data? Just for now "1)" is a priority, I can't leave my pc on overnight... Thanks in advance...
  8. Hi guys, thanks for all your help, I think IO have solved the problem... In the Control Panel, where you can change the resolution, I was clicking "Advanced Setting" to change the Hz, but this time, I clicked the monitor and changed the Hz for the TV... and it didn't change the Hz for the monitor... So all I can think of, is in "advanced settings" it changes it for both... what ever, the problem is solved now, thanks for all your guys help D:
  9. It's not Control panel... It's AMD Catalyst Controll Centre... My Mobo doesn't have onboard graphics, all done by the GPU. There are options to change the Hz, for the TV, from 24 - 60 hz, but 24Hz is the only setting where it doesn't cause the problems.
  10. I could try it, would that really be the problem though?
  11. I tried, i have even uninstalled all the drivers, and reinstalled them, yet Catalyst Control Centre refuses to show up, The installer says it is installed, but there is no evidence of it being installed, anywhere...
  12. It's got to be the TV, because when i set it to 60hz my monitor is displaying 60hz perfectly well, but i don't think my TV can handle 60hz... it's strange.
  13. I have already said, I extended the display before in the forum /\ and the TV is some cheap small name brand called ALBA. Model: LCD22880HDF I don't think they have a website. They are a sister company (I think) of BUSH...
  14. Well, I am positive i have identified the issue, the Hz, When i set it to 24 Hz it goes back to normal, but it sets it 24Hz for both monitors, is there any way to set different Hz for the different monitors?...
