  1. Thanks for your reply! It will be played at 1080p.
  2. Hey and thanks for checking out my post! I am building a gaming budget gaming build for a friend and I also want to learn how to overclock and make the most out of a processor. This will only be my 3rd build so I am still a noob. My biggest question would be if I got a 960 would the processor/GPU be bottlenecked? Is the 960 overkill? I would like this system to run current games on normal settings. (I am hoping for GTA V, Chivalry, and Insurgency. These are what I normally play.) Please tell me if I am reaching for the stars or if this is realistic. Any advice would be great too! Thanks! Zach
  3. You guys were right! It was the CPU. Also, I figured out how to install my Noctua NH-C14 properly so that will also help with the cooling and the noise. Thanks guys! This is while running GTA V on very high settings.
  4. So that's what is affecting the gaming? Alright.. I will start looking into smaller CPU coolers.
  5. This is with Chivalry running... Do I need to get an aftermarket CPU cooler?
  6. This is what I got currently while not gaming... See anything worth noting?
  7. Yes I used the stock one. I bought one but it did not fit inside the case. I will install that AI suite. Thank you!
  8. What is the best way to check the temps? The motherboard is an ASUS Asus H97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150. Drivers are up to date. The computer is stable. Could you tell me a little more about thermal throttling?
  9. Hello, I hope you're having a good day. I just put this computer together last night (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LzbjQ7). Win7 is running fine and I'm having no problems with the monitor (BenQ RL2455HM). I am new to computer building as this is my 2nd build. When I try to play Chivalry or GTA V, it seems very chopping and not smooth at all. My GTX 960 was performing better than this. I dont know what it could be. Also, my Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition fans are not being quiet at all. It feels like they are on full blast and I do not know how to turn down the RPMs. Any help is appreciated! Thank you for your time. Zach
  10. How about something small and cheap like this? ~$250 https://youtu.be/66pbYETmClE I am planning on building this shortly.
  11. Aha! This is probably what I will do! That went right past my mind. Thanks man
  12. Hello and thanks for checking out my post! I have build a mini ITX comp (This is my second build and you can see it here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ggJnrH) and I primarily use it for gaming. But I was thinking about hooking it up to my TV in the living room of my apartment and utilizing it as a HTPC. Since I only have 2 HDMI ports (1 GPU + 1 MOBO), would my system work fine on my TV while using the MOBO HDMI? I would only use it to stream Netflix, Hulu, and browse the internet. Thank you! Zach
  13. Ill continue to watch your videos because I support all that you do. However, I would have rather seen you change the website from a big forum to a website where you posted your videos and content here, on your own. Vessel has poor navigation and is trying to be too minimalistic IMO. Also, I am not going to remember to check it every day because you're the only person I have interests in watching on there. I wish you the best of luck though. Thanks for all you've done thus far! You've helped me a lot! Zach
