  1. I am having trouble with an ADATA XPG SX6000 PCIe 128GB ssd which I had been using as my boot drive for 2 years now. My computer randomly crashed and when I booted it up the password bar would never appear so I could never log in. All day I tried so many different ways to start in safemode but I couldn't manage it once. I gave up on saving the data on the ssd so I installed a fresh copy of windows onto a different hard drive with the plan to fortmat the ssd and reinstalling windows onto it. I have tried installing a fresh copy of windows onto the ssd, formatting the ssd in windows, using DISKPART to clean it, and other softwares and nothing is working. In disk management it says that the ssd is in readonly mode but when I try to remove that in DISKPART it says it was succesfully changed but in reality nothing happens. I am close to giving up on the drive and contacting ADATA for an rma but I wanted to know if someone here could help me first.
  2. Actually that might be it because when I take off the cooler the part where the ram chips go is hotter than where the core is and the core feels fine.
  3. Ive checked that too and the pads look a little beat up I think im going to buy new ones.
  4. Yes I have removed the cooler and the whole chip was covered and I made sure the screws were in tightly.
  5. I have seen that video and I have done everything he says.
  6. So my gpu was getting a little dusty and I decided to clean it and change the thermal paste while I was at it. I removed the thermal paste and replaced it with arctic silver 5. after I had changed the thermal paste my idle temps went up to 45 degrees. I bought some arctic mx-4 to see if this thermal paste would change anything but nothing I'm still at 45c. what could be wrong?
  7. I ordered a wifi card for my new computer since I would not have a wired connection nearby and once I got it I tested it on my old computer to see if it worked because I didnt have my computer built yet. Now it wont use wifi on my new computer but it does work in the old one. I have installed the newest drivers but I still get nothing.
  8. Thanks man I will try it whenever I have the chance and see what happens, but if all else fails I guess ill just have to say goodbye to my files.
  9. I couldn't figure out how to reply lol. How does the software work? Do I need another computer? All I have is a laptop that I can use right now.
  10. Yesterday I tried restarting my computer after using it for a bit and it went into a recovery loop. I can't seem to fix the problem so I have decided to reset my computer but I have lots of data on there that I would not like to loose. Is there a way I can copy the information from my hard drive onto an external hard drive and not loose my data?
