I mean there is nothing wrong with it but imho the EVGA and Gigabyte cards both look better as well as offer equal if not better performance. Slightly cooler, slightly higher clock speeds.

Yeah i understand this but what about the distortion. How bad would it be? And also if I lowered the setting how many fps? Would it be playable?

Ok so basically I could run Tanks at 3k at like 60+ fps. But what happens if I want to play DayZ, or the witcher 3 or something like that. I would obviously have to lower to 1080p. How bad would the distortion be?

So for example if I maxxed out all their setting at 3k would I be getting 60+ fps on all those titles you think???

There is a new need for speed most wanted game that came out in 2012. I don't know if it is as good as the 2005 one though. But I guess you knew that...

I've been seeing a lot of 3k screens on laptops recently... Even a few 4k screens. Specifically i've been looking at Aorus and MSI. I'm sure that when not gaming browsing the internet at 3k is awesome. However, are these resolutions sustainable when gaming. I know that can't be when playing very high intensity games. But what about less intensive games such as LoL or World of Tanks. I play those games sometimes and was wondering if I could play them on high settings at 3k. Also, how does switching resolutions work when going from web browsing to gaming? Can you make the adjustment quickly or is it a slow process? Also, if you were to lower the resolution to 1080p on a 3k laptop screen, wouldn't the picture be duistorted because of not using the max resolution possible?

I am veery thankful of your guys honest advice in my situation of need and distress. Heeding your advice my gf is currently driving my son to the hospital right now. However, it's not really a big deal and everything is okay because I just discovered that the bleach container was never actually opened and is full so my son never drank the bleach. My gf is going to laugh so hard when she finds out later tonight

Okay in all seriousness without hating on AMD I have to give this build a 3. And that's being generous. CPU is old but you got it to a decent clockspeed I guess. Motherboard: I honestly have no idea what you were thinking that thing is terrible RAM: 8GB is fine I guess. 1866 MHz isnt good or bad really. GPU: What were you thinking. That GPU is honestly terrible. You could pick up one 5 times better for maybe $100 more. Case: You might as well have not bought a case at all and just plugged everything together and piled it up on the floor. That case is one of the ugliest monstrosities I have ever laid eyes on. You could have gotten a beautiful NZXT S340 for $60. PSU: Pretty good I guess HDD: Why only 500 GB??? If you don't need much storage space, at least get a small SSD. Monitor 1: mediocre Monitor 2: WTH were you thinking. Honestly. Just why.

Yea I pretty much to some extent was ruling the Razer Blade out as well. I was also leaning towards the Aorus. That being said I am still interested in a few more people's oppinions. I really want to hear what people say about the two Asus cps and the P37x. I'm also still interested in if someone thinks I should custom build one on XoticPC.

So over the past couple of days I have been doing a ton of research since I plan to buy a gaming laptop for college. There are a ton of options and I can't decide. I was just hoping for some other opinions to help me choose. Before I state my options I would like to say that I want extreme gaming performance at any cost. That being said, I would also like it to be lightweight, quiet, and cool. G-Sync or 4k would be a nice bonus. Although I am not entirely opposed to flashy gaming colors, I would prefer a more business-like all black look. So without further ado I have narrowed it down to these in no particular order: - P37X - New Razer Blade Pro - Sager N9773 - Asus G751 - Asus G501 - Aorus X5 or Aorus X7 Pro - MSI GT72 Dominator Pro I guess I can't make this list without considering that Titan SLI thing MSI has. I also have considered custom ordering one from xotic PC. I just don't know what I would custom order. My eventual plan is to buy an external monitor (preferably gsync) and keyboard/mouse to actually play with at home, then take the thing with me to college as is. I don't wanna play any ridiculously speced games either, but I want to play anything I want at the highest graphics setting possible with 60-100 FPS. (Arma 3,DayZ, Elite Dangerous,Total War) I am also open to new suggesting. I am sorry if this is overbearing of a post, I just want to make sure I pick the right machine as it is very expensive.
