  1. Hey, everybody I just built a temporary pc for myself and the motherboard that I use didn't have onboard wifi or bluetooth so I was forced to go with a pcie card that gives me wifi and bluetooth. I purchased this https://www.microcenter.com/product/622349/tp-link-ac1200-wi-fi-5-dual-band-pci-e-wireless-adapter-with-bluetooth-42 and installed the proper drivers however, my wifi does not work with it. I have a usb wifi dongle that I used and I have been using wifi temporarily on that (since it reads my network) so my question to you is which pcie wifi and bluetooth pcie will work properly with my wifi connection? I saw https://www.microcenter.com/product/625878/asus-ax3000-dual-band-pci-e-wifi-6-(80211ax)-supporting-160mhz,-bluetooth-50,-wpa3-network-security,-ofdma-and-mu-mimo for sale which is "AX3000 Dual Band PCI-E WiFi 6" compared to the one that I purchased "AC1200 Wi-FI 5 Dual Band PCI-E". Will this one work properly with my build? Not sure if it matters but: I have 1,000/1,000 internet and a upgraded nighthawk router that I have never had problems with. Just the issue with this certain PCIE (Guess it's because of the PCIE) so it somebody can assist me or recommend me one that works properly (PCIE) that would be awesome. Thank you. And... this is the router/modem that I have https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/modem-routers/cax80
  2. Anybody local to NY and can offer this service? Let me know, bump!
  3. I’m impatient and don’t want to wait a whole shipping process. Would rather wait for it to be done if possible. Would pay of course.

    Quiet Fans

I have the Venturi HF-14. Are the new GP x2 models a lot better and quiet?

    Quiet Fans

Hi, I currently have Fractal Design fans in my build. I have 4 on my radiator which is an H110i and I have 3 front fans and 1 rear fan in my build. I have a total of 8 fans and they seem fairly loud. What fans are quiet and have performance to them? This is my current build, what do you think I should replace them all with? Let me know down below, thanks!
  8. Yeah, I was thinking about adding another of the same drive.
  9. Hey, everybody! I finally upgraded my personal desktop hard drive. I want to ask you guys what you think of the upgrade? I went from a Western Digital 2TB 5,400RPM to the Seagate IronWolf 10TB NAS Hard Drive 7200 RPM. Much faster drive and have tons of space to play around, what do you guys think?
  10. Hi, I recently purchased the GTX 1080 Ti reference model which only has HDMI and Display Port. I also have a BenQ Zowie XL2411 monitor which is 144Hz. I have tried using HDMI and I only get 60Hz. I also tried the display port --> dvi adapter that was included in the box and I'm only capped at 60Hz. What would I need to run my at 144Hz? Please help me/link me! Thank you. * PS: MY MONITOR ONLY HAS HDMI/Display Port *
  11. Honestly depends how I encode when I stream. When I stream PC games I encode using H.264. When I stream console game I use the HD60 Pro. When I record PC game I use Shadowplay.
  12. Something like that, this is my only PC. I stream from time to time but I game a lot (Even though this is overkill for anything and everything, just wanted to future proof myself. Tell me about it, I have to clean it once a month. I purchased this build a while back (Not recently) but I just upgraded the gpu and cooler so I was like might as well post it. I gotta get a SSD next. This stream will be a multi-purpose machine, rendering, gaming, etc.

I didn't do final pictures and kind of took pictures a little before it's finished! I wanted to just show you all how good the computers coming out! I built this computer for a good friend of mine, hope all of you like it! I love it.
  15. No problem, I understand! Thanks for the good words though! I DO need a backplate for the new GPU coming in, it will be needed for the build to look even better. Haha, thanks a lot man! Appreciate the words, I love the way the RAM worked in this build. The colors go well so nicely.
