Another option to try is https://www.duckdns.org/, basically the same as FreeDNS -
Anyone got any recommendations/deals for damn good wireless earbuds that sound amazing, kinda sporty, holds onto the ear without falling off easily (like JBL reflect), and doesn't break the bank of a student? I remember last year when LinusTechTips posted a link to an amazon link for the Senheiser HD 598 CS, Was the best purchase I've done for a headphone and they're perfect, but, It's really annoying to take these headphones with me everywhere because it fills whole bag leaving no room for other stuff, Now I'm looking for something with similar quality to JBL Reflect and wireless too. (I once had JBL Reflect but the 3.5mm can get easily damaged with heavy use and running everyday, Great quality, terrible cable reliability IMO) So, please share here what you guys have and if they're on sale do share them here, and if you think that you would change, which brand/product would you go for? Would love to hear what your suggestions ***excuse the language***

Review a disk cleaner, are they legit? do they work? i think this would be a fantastic video in LTT style, modern and clear, most videos on youtube are like 8 years old (damn), and a new high quality, modern 4k video about a disk cleaner would be neat, also it would be cool if you reviewed like multiple units, some are well made ones, other are some Chinese manufactured cd items on ebay. i think it would be neat to bring back something from the dead from our beloved childhood, but as you see we may not have had taken good care of our good ol' cds u know...

Anyone got a Lenovo Y700 4K edition to answer few questions
RevoX86 replied to RevoX86's topic in Phones and Tablets
budget is around 1300-1500 USD and location is israel (Price is the same as the lenovo i mentioned above, with taxes and all) i just tried looking for it online in the stores around me, prices are skyrocket whopping around 2500$!!!!, so ill skip this one thank you ill try then, thank you -
Hello, so i was wondering, Is the lenovo y700 4k edition laptop, locked on 48hz refresh rate? or 60hz? I'm asking this because from the last video i saw from linus about the y70-50(?) with 4k screen, the refresh rate was locked on 48hz, is this still going with the latest ones? (y700 model) i have looked online but found no answer to my question, can someone please who have this laptop settle this down for me? (Out of subject) Another thing, do you suggest anything else than lenovo? (must be same specs [gtx 960m,16gb, 128gb 1tb, i7 6700HQ])

Dell 5737 with amd radeon hd 8870m can't install driver
RevoX86 replied to RevoX86's topic in Troubleshooting
Well, it might be a bit late, it's solved now, ill leave this just for later on reference, we just ended up contacting dell and replacing the motherboard one last time, then reinstalled windows with its drivers and it worked like a charm, the drivers worked, brightness worked, everything worked as intended, problem solved. -
I got with me a dell 5373, 16gb ram, i7 4500u, and amd radeon hd 8870m. I have recently installed windows 10 on it, and ive been trying to install drivers on it, everything worked, until i reached amd part. i've tried a lot of drivers from different sources and places from dell website to amd official drivers and from forums and so, non of them successfully installed the amd driver, even if the installation completed 100% it failed to even "run" the gpu to make it work (i keep getting code 31 in device manager) and sometimes it gets messy and the whole computer dies and bsod on me, so it forces me to boot to safe mode, completely delete the amd driver, restart, and do it again and pray for it to work, but still nothing. background about this laptop, it's motherboard has been replaced 3-4 times i think, because it had a problem back at windows 8.1 where whenever the laptop tries to go to sleep, it stays on, and the screen black, and it forces me to do hard shutdown and turn it back on, so far that worked (replacing motherboard and almost suing them because each time they replace it they gave me a refurbished one until they replaced it with a new manufactured motherboard), it worked good on win 8.1, but the brightness didn't work and i've been told by them to try to upgrade to windows 10, so i did, the changing brightness worked after installing the intel graphics driver, but no luck with the amd. has anyone ever had something like this? this is frustrating!! i even contacted dell they barely even helped me, they said there is nothing they cant do, what now then?! (I even tried to contact them to see if they can replace the motherboard with one that has nvidia gpu on, but no, they can't do that)...

and since we are talking about a laptop (which i assume you have a monitor) how much would that blurriness do you think will be noticeable on a 4k laptop monitor, which is like 15.7 inch?

I once saw a video from linus reviewing another lenovo model which is y50 4k, however from his video he shows that turning down the settings of the games to 1080P will create big black borders around the game and the game window will look small, has this been fixed? cause im planning on buying around next week, and if so how will it look like playing 1080p on a 4k display? and is it worth it for programmers? or should i stick with 1080p edition? The gpu chip it ships with is GTX 960m just for your info need and a intel skylake i7 6700HQ with 16GB of ram. (worth it?)

I understand that, I have a very good PC which I'm currently using but i need a laptop for my college and code courses and good enough for games I might even remove this option and just stick with any laptop but the thing is, is there any laptop that has official support for external graphic cards? can any one link me one or something? that would be great, also how much would a cpu only laptop differ from a laptop with gpu for coding purposes and Photoshop usage? I would say like 1000-1500 USD

I'm looking for a laptop that is: 16 GB ram Ships with either SSD or SSHD inside Good quality display panel has i7 processor good for software development good editing photos, videos etc... can handle over 50 tabs of chrome can handle around 10 documents opened in photoshop can handle like 12 powerful softwares opened at the same time (Photoshop, illustrator, android studio, virtual machines, chrome, etc...) OPTIONAL (i guess): good for on the go gaming This may look ridiculous but i would like to see what you come up with, At first i thought of getting the Lenovo Y50-70 4K GTX 860M edition (Can't find anything else in stores where i live for now), but i was like, it's a year old laptop, and It's holiday season and chances of a better laptop to reach the country are high during these times, so... idk, is it worth it? or should i wait a little more. Also for software developing only and photo editing (no gaming), should i care about having a graphic unit inside the laptop for these kind of work? And is it worth getting a laptop that is compatible with external Graphic card station? I'm planning on getting one of these where i use my laptop for normal use and when i get home i plug the station and voila. Alright lets see what you could come up with, and i would like to hear your opinion if you even have or used a laptop of your recommendation, and if its worth getting a year old laptop for now...
