  1. Picking up a 4760HQ Qualification Sample for my HTPC soon. Hopefully it will work on the Supox IB85MY-Q7 I bought from taobao a while ago. Also @TheRandomness: I don't think this is a particularly special mod. Socket adapters like this have been done before for CPUs that have the same architecture but a different socket (478 to 775 adapter, for example).
  2. Which mobo? The Sabertooth or the Pro? I don't have money to spare, I've been doing a paper route for the past 3 years If prices don't drop sooon, I guess I'll go with the FX.
  3. AFAIK that one has a 6+2 power phase which isn't ideal for OCing octa-cores. I personally hate black and red as well. I might go with 5820k after Broadwell-E is announced and prices drop
  4. How about this one then? http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a99fxpror20 I went with the Sabertooth for the sheer number of USB 3.0 ports, but I can drop in a USB card if necessary (at the cost of aesthetics )
  5. Here is the part list: I live in Australia so I'll be buying all my WC stuff from PCCaseGear. I already have a decent enough keyboard, so I won't require a new one.
  6. Can you PLEASE do a visualization PC build log with an FX-8350 or similar?
  7. Because I do a lot of virtualisation work and I need the extra cores Hmm. What's the best rad/fan and pump/res solution for this build that will fit in a 600C? Or, if it won't fit, what's another similarly sized case that can fit a good rad? EDIT: Thx for the edit, admins! I screwed up the formatting
  8. So, I'm going to be doing a custom loop build next year, but I am a bit worried that a single 360mm rad won't be able to handle the heat generated by an OC-ed FX-8320. Here is my WC Part List: http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/TkpX I'll be buying all my WC parts from PCCasegear, as I live in Australia. Thoughts?
  9. But then the XBox and the TV would be floating, and that would make it kinda hard to play on.
