1050 is lower than budget and not a good value. If you want to be in the 150 dollar price range, the RX 570 is a way better value. 100% agree with you here.

Does Overwatch even have Linux support? Or are you intending on running it through one of those programs like Wine? As for a budget of $1000 and being able to play Overwatch, i don't see why not. PC Part Picker has builds that they update quite frequently as new products are released. Here is their featured AMD build in your price range: https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/t832FT/great-amd-gaming-build It has an Nvida GPU by default but you can swap that out for an AMD GPU of an equivalent price as you wish.

PC Randomly restarts, no overheating, no BSOD. [Help needed]

I agree it might be a problem with the power supply. 450 watt is enough, however it sounds like it is failing under load so something could be wrong with it. The crashes while in use could be corrupting data on the drive, I'm not sure if that is related to CHKDSK. It also might be worth while to swap out the drive's cables to narrow down the issue if you have any spare. -
It was the power supply, just swapped it out with a friends as they are on vacation and didn't mind. Contacting Corsair to see how this will proceed as I still don't know if its the cables or the PSU itself. Thank you both for your suggestions.

I believe I’ve swapped the power supply once before. This power supply has been transfered between 1 other working system which ran with no issues. I’ve had no reason to believe it was a problem and didnt have an extra 100+ dollars burning a hole in my pocket to get a new one. Its not a sketchy power supply or anything (Corsair RM850 80plus gold). Do you think I should contact that manufacturer aswell?

Thanks for the reply, I do not have a motherboard speaker, the lit LED is a Standby power LED. When the power button is pressed it will flicker but beyond that, no other LEDs turn on nor do fans spin. I just tried a different power cable and booting with 1 stick of ram (tried both separately). I find it odd that I’ve had 2 prior motherboard failures on a separate system. Am I possibly doing something wrong or just unlucky? Its a relatively new board and not a budget oriented one either. I have it plugged into a battery backup UPS so there is never power fluctuations to kill it. I’m not overclocking either. The oldest component I have in this is the power supply but it seems to be providing power to the board. Any other suggestions before I should dissassemble and RMA the board?

Specs are on my profile and are up to date. Computer will not boot from power button. Power LED on board is on. The past few weeks I’ve had a problem with awaking the computer from sleep (Would start to wake but periferals would remain unresponsive). This would make me have to fully power down and restart the computer. When it would power on it would resume where i last was. Today I pressed the reset button instead of the power button on a whim and now it is unresponsive. Things I Have Tried; Power switch on psu, unplugging PSU, Different wall outlet, Clear CMOS, Disconnect CMOS battery, Replace CMOS battery, Switching power button pin to reset button pin, Unplugging reset button pin, Disconnecting GPU, Disconnecting all periferals. When the power button is pressed, the LED strip on the motherboard flickers which leads me to believe the button itself isnt the problem. I’m currently looking for a spare power cable for the PSU to try switching that out. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Not entirely sure that you need 12 threads for just gaming. I find that the majority of current titles don't take advantage of multi-core as well as they could. Single core performance can be a bottleneck in that regard. I can see the Ryzen 5 1600 maybe having resale value considering the market share but the Ryzen 3 1300x ($113.99 Ebay) is probably a suitable alternative if we are trying to stay within a $600 budget.

DIY Mouse Feet Repair: Looking for Suggestions

I wet a piece of 1500 grit sandpaper and worked down the epoxy a bit. Currently at 1500 grit if i maintain a light pressure it seems to be fine but if i push down too hard it gets resistant. Feels substantially better than without. Planning on getting some more (finer grit perhaps) sandpaper tomorrow to get it to a smoothness of my liking. Will keep post updated. -
Maybe get an aftermarket heat-sink and nice hd. I have no experience with the new AMD Stock coolers but the 8350's sounded like a jet engine. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/j28H99/seagate-barracuda-3tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st3000dm008 https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/Jsdqqs/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rrt418pkr1

I'll just leave this here... https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.3667699&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=buildguide_2gmPxr

Speaking from experience, the 8350's Single core performance falls short leaving you with stuttering when pushing frame rates past 100 in some titles like R6: Siege. I'd definitely look for a newer CPU with better single core performance than the 8350 as a baseline.

You've checked both sides of the display port cable? Check device manager to see if the monitor is showing up under the monitors section. Check if you unplugged the monitor's power.
-
Display connectors re-seated properly? Windows Key + P Extend?

Start removing things from the equation to narrow down the problem. Remove the GPU and use the motherboard for graphics.
