Newish house, haven't bothered to RMA the drives because I usually just get pissed and go buy a new one same day and end it at that

Hi my wife's computer keeps eating hard drives/SSDs! For whatever reason, whatever drives we install die after a few months, and I know it's not just bad luck because the monster had eaten 6 drives now. Usually I just get pissed and go to best buy same day and forget about it. Got an nvme drive a few months ago and that hasn't gone yet, all others were sata. Any idea what the issue could be?? Already switched power supplies so I've ruled that out. Drives aren't detected in bios or windows. If I need to get an exorcist to exorcise this thing please send referrals, thank you.

I was in the market for a new gaming headset since my previous g930 finally died. I have a pair of sony 950bt's that I use wired. I was wondering since I already have a decent pair of headphones if the mod mic is as good as everyone says, or if a $100-150 pair of gaming headphones would be a better option. (Sorry I know this is a pretty common question, but you guysnever steer me wrong!)

i was thinking of overclocking my GPU a little, but the CPU is dragging me down to the point that i doubt itd be worth it. I also dont have much faith in my reference FE 1070 lol

Yea upon comparing it my 8350 is bringing me down to about the level of a 970/290x

LOLOLOL I wanted to upgrade my entire system all at once, but the 1070 was just too tantalizing for me to resist getting early!

Luckily since I work at (undisclosed company) I get a MASSIVE (undisclosed) discount on the latest i7 certain times throughout the year so when the time comes upgrading to a 6th gen 6 core beast will be a breeze LOL
