  1. Budget (including currency): 100000k INR(1350USD) Country: INDIA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, Video Editing, Content Creation, Streaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Currently on an HP laptop(i5 6th gen). Buying on March 2021. Targeting 1080p 144hz. Here is the thing I am torn between these two CPUs. Both of them costs almost the same as the 5600x being a bit more expensive(<50 USD). Now march 2021 I will build my second desktop currently on a HP laptop from 2016 (i5 6th gen) and earlier on the i3 3rd gen desktop. I plan on playing 1080p 144hz gaming with getting my hand on video editing and content creation possibly streaming also. The thing is since this is my second build with a first-ever discrete GPU( yes never had or owned any discrete GPU) it's really tempting me to go for the latest generation while on the other hand many people are saying that the 2 extra cores in the 3700x will come in handy a lot. Since I am on a 1080p panel I plan on going with the RX 6700 series if any comes out or the 3060ti 8/possibly 12 gigs (whichever is under my budget possibly the latter). Now I saw the benchmarks, the 5600x performs better nearly 20% or more in games than the 3700x. I plan on using this machine for the next 4 to 5 years what,s the best solution for me? there is equal weightage on video editing and gaming. And I avoided the 5800x & 5900x as both are a bit too expensive for me.
  2. i am bit confused as how to choose the right mobo for my ryzen 3700x i will get the build on december this year. the build i will get cpu= ryzen 7 5700x ram = gskill trident z 3000 mhz (1x8 gig) cl=16 (will get another 8 gigs next Jan) Motherboard =( not decided) gpu=rtx 2070 super trio 8gb from msi psu= (not decided) case= spec 04 from corsair now the thing is i don't plan on overclocking the cpu at all, maybe MAYBE!!!! a liitle light oc but that also later down the road. so if the OC option is available it good but if it dosen't then also i have noproblem, as Ryzen series dosen't oc very much to begin with. A recommendation for a decent mobo around (200-230)usd as prices here tend to be a bit more. And regarding the psu i am thinking of buying a 650 or a 750 watt psu. leaning a bit towards the 650 but i don't know that much about psu. recommendation needed. considered the gigabyte x570 ud but then again maybe i am cheaping out too much on the mobo. so any good recommendation will do.
