  1. Well if you can sell the buds for more than 50 yeah for sure!
  2. Update for anyone who has this issue in the future. Had to reset (keeping files) which seemed to work for this....bit of a pain but beats losing files
  3. Yeah I think I have to unfortunately, I have work saved I need! I'll update this on how it goes. It seems like a shite that would corrupt the os...
  4. Thank you for this! I'll review it later. Masive help.
  5. Hey. Currently my pc keeps booting into the automatic repair screen. Bit of background. I had malware bytes pro and my subscription ran out few weeks ago, Windows keeps promoting to renew or remove, which I've ignored till now. Now it's minimising games etc and is just a nuisance so I went to remove it and my pc BSOD... Weird. Then kept booting into automatic repair. Now I have the option to reset, either with keeping files or a fresh start. Just wanting to confirm that the keeping files option is safe? I have few bits of work I'd rather not lose. Thanks for any advice!
  6. yeah thats the plan like linus did really. Thanks for the response Once i eventually do it ill try making a post about it! Just want the grey parts to be white haha
  7. Hey! So i recently bought a MSI Tomahawk z390 board which is grey and now thinking of doing a white build so was wondering how difficult it is to actually just paint (plasti dip like linus's vid) the heat sinks etc (obviously removing them all and painting!). I still have time and could return the board and just get another i suppose unless its not difficult at all? If you'd recommend jsut buying a white board any recommendations around the £140 mark? Thanks!
  8. Sorry for the super delay, i tried both. Its now gone back to the manufacturer sure the board is dead. RIP
  9. It does not it's the z370p d3, i should have mentioned in my post. If it did it would automatically boot with the back up I believe.
  10. So earlier today I got a prompt to update bios so I thought sure let that go whilst I'm working. However I totally forgot and restarted my pc (file.explorer kept freezing), now my pc won't post. Specs: -i5 9600k -gigabyte z370 board -16gb ddr4 Corsair ram -gtx 970 -seasonic 80+ bronze PSU I have already tried resetting cmos with no luck. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
  11. Think it's worth risking turning PC on to install that? Don't want to risk a new CPU and board for an aio which was bought 4 years ago or so
  12. Silly question... How do I check the power to the pump?
  13. Noted.. And not turning the computer back on... Thanks haha
  14. Thought it might be the pump... It's unfortunately few years old.. Thanks though
  15. Hey guys So my CPU/Mobo is around 2 months old now and PC has been running totally fine. Yesterday I log on and my PC is running really slow which is weird.. So I restart, slight improvement but still slow which was evident when I turned csgo on, usual fps is roughly 300 but was only getting 100. After checking temps,I see they are at 100 which never happens so I turn everything off and go and check my components. Everything is connected fine, and I really thermal paste and still getting the same issue with CPU idleing at 90-100. CPU: i5 9600k Mobo; gigabyte z370p Cooler: Corsair h110 Checked temps on 2 apps to be certain there are no faulty readings. Any help is appreciated.
  16. Firstly, is the CPU overclocked? Re-apply the thermal paste on the CPU to make sure its done correctly. Any codes on BSOD?
  17. if you cant see it in person, id personally not take the risk.

  20. agreed, however im just upgrading part of my pc for now and the cpu is really holding it back. But i will look into a new gpu further down the year!
  21. its Autodesk autocad and revit, but thanks for the answer appreciate it!
  22. Hey all Currently i am running a I5-3570/8gb DDR3 ram which is really slowing down on new games and it is noticeable when i occasional use Sketchup/Photoshop. My current build is: CPU: I5 3570 RAM: DDR3 8GB 1600mhz Mobo: Asus P8z77-m GPU: GTX 970 My plan is to upgrade my cpu/mobo/ram, i was looking between a I5 9600k (£250) or a Ryzen 2700x (£300). I am running a 1440p 144hz monitor and 90% of usage is for gaming with 10% for work such as CAD/Sketchup/Photoshop. Any advice is welcome and thanks in advance!
