ScorpioV's Achievements

  1. I would love to win this because I am in the process of building a custom gaming PC for my best friend and the budget as it stands doesn't allow for an SSD. I would love it if he had the opportunity to have a SUPER snappy system.
  2. Nothing. Same thing. May just go buy some electrical tape. Edit: It appears that since my entire color scheme is blue, that if I leave the blue slider where it is (currently 75 because its a dark blue) and put the Red and Green slider to ONE instead of ZERO, it appears to work fine and the color change is not noticeable at all. Hopefully this can be put to use elsewhere. Thank you for your time.
  3. That's what I am wondering. I am uninstalling them now and gonna reinstall them.
  4. I think the weirdest part is, it is perfectly fine after a reboot normally and really tends to do it after the computer goes to sleep
  5. It's not a huge issue, and if nothing else I will cover it up. But recently my H100i CPU Cooler has gone nuts on the LED. I have it set to pulse between black and blue, however when coming out of sleep mode and at times even starting up from full shutdown, it flashes between white and yellow. It is right at a year old now. The cooler itself runs perfectly fine, keeps my CPU around 20-30*C unless under full load. Those only thing I have changed from it's default set up is the fans, I am using Noctua NF-F12 fans instead of the ones that come with the cooler. The fans are plugged into the CPU block and are running the the Quiet profile. They appear to be doing fine. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Hello, I am going to be changing over to a Corsair 750D case in the next few weeks from my old case. When I do this, I will have one extra fan spot. My other fans are going to be in the others and I will need to get one for the rear as an exhaust fan, I was wondering which would be better to get, a Noctua S12A or an NF-A14? There will be no radiator or filter on this particular mounting point so I really don't think I need static pressure, but I know 140mm fans usually beat 120mm ones. I use Noctua fans everywhere else in my build and I really don't want to change to anything else. Does it really make a difference in this situation? Thank you in advance for your help. EDIT: Also I run mine through AI Suite set on Silent if that changes anyting
  7. Alright, just wanted to clear that up. Was able to splurge a bit, but wasting money after a screw up is something I can't afford. Thanks.
  8. So it would be a 4+4 pin that I would use on the motherboard, correct?
  9. Makes a huge difference when it comes to looks, especially since my entire theme is black and blue with touches of red lol
  10. Alright, would the HX750i work?

    HX850i

Hey guys, was looking for a new PSU and came across the HX850i. It looks like a solid PSU, but I am just wanting to verify that it will have the correct connectors to run my hardware. *I am going to need 6 SATA's for my h100i, SSD, HDD etc *2 8 pin connectors for my 970 STRIX (possibly getting another if I get some extra money, which is why I say 2) *1 24 pin (obviously this is going to be in it lol) 1 4 pin and another 8 pin for my upcoming upgrade to a ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z (I just eyeballed this one, might or might not need all of them Will this PSU have enough of those connectors? Or do I need to keep looking? Or is there an option that is just as good or better for less money? Thanks!
  12. Meant fan header on my board. But I am pretty sure I can work that issue out if needed.
  13. Raidmax ScorpioV, but I have a fan controller in the way as well which I just realized.
  14. Yeah I have a feeling it would be too big for my case. I have a couple of Alchemy LEDs on the inside which look great. Any more lights and I would have to turn the side of my case away from me because it would be too bright.
