  1. Hello everyone, sorry if this isn't the most appropriate forum for this but here it is: My 9 year old windows 10 PC 64 bit that I built in high school finally died (error code: 0xc00000f) and at this point I would rather put my time and energy into a new build. The problem is, I was running plex off this PC and had striped 3x 6 TB NAS drives (dynamic) that stored all my media in addition to other random drives that stored games and stuff. I would like to migrate these 3x6 TB dynamic drives to a new machine that is run off unraid or something (looking for suggestions, ideally it would be expandable) and continue to use Plex for local and remote streaming. For the new machine, I'd like it to be small form factor I currently have my this Kingwin SSHD Hard Drive Enclosure Internal 5 Hot Swap Bay Mobile Rack 3.5” that I would like to put into the new machine. I am willing to pay someone to sit and walk me through this.
  2. I would like some hardware recommendations. I've heard good things about Ubiquiti so I'm open to it.
  3. I have a plex media server running off my PC and all the smart TV's connect to it over WiFi so I want to do something about that. I want to move the plex media server into something on a server rack so its not on my PC, so I will have to get a server/nas for that. I'm rather new at all this so I have my plex server on 3 x 6Tb hard drives that I made into an array on windows. I want to be able to move it all without losing files and have the ability to add more drives to it in the future.
  4. I just updated the post with more info. I would need to buy everything.
  5. Hello everyone. I've been putting this off for quite a while but I think it is time to finally do it. My parent's have been living in their house for close to 30 years now and they have WiFi, but coverage around the house is meh. I want to setup a server rack that will house the modem (we pay for 940 Down 50 Up), I need to buy a router and switch with at least 12 POE ports for 8 existing cameras and some access points that I want to put in. I want to make runs to 4 smart TV's around the house. Should I put a switch at each of the TVs so I can have options for more devices to put there (gaming consoles basically)? Or do I need to run multiple cables to each TV for each individual device? What should I be looking for in terms of hardware? I have no materials so I would need to buy all the cables, rack, accessories etc. My budget is ~$1800 USD Thanks in advance!
