I've been OOTL for so long, but I'm surprised on the results of the list. What does the Seasonic M12ii did to fall from Tier B to Tier D and declaring it "Potentially Dangerous"? Sure there's the testing methodology, but I don't understand any bit of it, plus it doesn't say anything how it could be declared "Potentially Dangerous", unless there are some RMA I haven't heard of.
I currently own a Seasonic M12ii 750W I have been using since 2014. I was sold to it because it was recommended by everyone on the previous tier list to replace my Cougar CMX 700W to try to fix an issue that was caused by a dying video card (it didn't fix the issue and my Radeon 5770 died in 2015, replaced with the GTX 970). Now, my GTX 970 has been showing signs of dying, so I am due for a replacement soon. I had to underclock my video card by 55% so that it doesn't crash.
I recently bought a new processor and had cost me everything that I had left for my budget. I'm just about to sell my old system at least to cover part of the cost of buying a new video card. How "Dangerous" is it to warrant an immediate replacement and make me run the dying video card for a bit longer?
