  1. What exactly does that thing do?
  2. We are restoring the car back to new(ish) But we want to upgrade the cooling with fans that adapt their speeds to the temperature of the car. We want more "tech" in the car, but it has to be discreet. No massive touchscreen in the centerconsole or anything. I don't really know what else to add but i was hoping you guys could come up with something
  3. First a bit of background info: My dad has a "78 TVR Taimar and the thing has been sitting in a shed for over 3 years now. The car, being british, old and unloved for a couple of years has turned into a bit of a rustpile. So me and my dad are planning to restore it (making everything function and restoring the thing to its former beauty) But the technology that lives inside it is still stone-age. That's where i'll need some help. We were planning on a computer-like system You know, thermal probes and fans that are controlled automatically, some form of built in media-center and some other stuff. But in order to make that happen i'm gonna need an army of electricity, car and computer wizards to figure out what we need in order to make our unholy frankenstein project work Let's start a conversation!
  4. so far i'm thinking of getting a Hyper 212 evo with an NF-F12. it seems to be the best and quietest option.
  5. They might be but i heard they don't cool as good is that true?
  6. Thank you! i'm sure this will help other people out aswell
  7. Hello everyone! Currently i have an i5-3570k in my system, But i'm using a stock intel cooler. Now here is the question: What cooler should i get for my i5-3570k? I'm not planning to do any overclocking, but i'd really like a quiet cooler. my budget is about 50-80 bucks. I've heard that the Coolermaster hyper 212 evo is a good choice, but it is really loud. i don't know if that is true but that is what i heard. Thanks!
  8. yes, that is correct. My budget is about 200 bucks. and i'd really like a 23 inch IPS monitor.
  9. Hello everyone i currently have 2 monitors, both of which are close to falling apart so it's time for a renewal. so far i've found the LG 23EA63V-P and the Dell U2312HM. if anyone has any suggestions for what monitors to get (i want 2 of the same in my setup) please tell me.
