    Is buying used RAM frowned upon for any particular reason? I was looking on eBay and I can get some RAM I need for half the price used rather than new.

    I have a 4790k, a mobo that doesn't support overclocking for it, and 8GB of 1600Mhz RAM. Would it be worth it to spend about 150 dollars to buy a z97 mobo to overclocking the CPU and some faster clocked RAM to go with it?

    I don't typically mess around with OC since i've never done it b4. So i guess i'd spend the extra 39 for the small premium

    Does the 1600x come with a cooler? A friend is selling the i7 for 250 and I only need to swap it with my i5 but for Ryzen I'd need to spend around 470 dollars. Would it still be worth it? For the DDR4 RAM and extra cores?
