  1. I tested the patriot 8gb, seagate1tb, asus 370 on my rig all of them work great now im starting to think the mobo has died...
  2. No i cannot this the first computer in his house. He has a laptop but i cant put a desktop graphics card in a laptop x.x i did try most of the troubleshooting from the pinned post in trouble shooting.
  3. So i built a new pc for my cousin. Everything looked fine but when i started to turn it on everything went on right. So i went to the monitor to press delete to open the bios and let it post but nothing happens. The monitor says no signal from the monitor and i cant seem to see the reason why it doesn't want to display anything on the monitor. I went back to check the graphics card everything seemed visually fine even on the motherboard. I tried reseating the ram reset the cmos used a the jumper from the motherboard re-seated gpu, cpu cooler, cpu, hard drive and optical drive. but nothing is working we started fiddling around with display adapters using hdmi, vga and dvi but nothing seems to want to display anything on the monitor. The motherboard does not come with a system speaker so we cant check the beep. so we are going to use what we have. The hard drive spins the cooler spins all case fans spins except the asus strix r7 370. I assumed it was supposed to do that since the fans arent supposted to spin at idle. The mouse and keyboard situation is that the keyboard does not light up and do anything but the mouse lights up and blinks sometimes. 4. Should i wait after Christmas until its my birthday march 19 and hope something good comes out by then? I also hope by then i can round myself another 50-100 dollars >.<
  5. Currently i am using a reference 660 ti and i want to upgrade this Christmas for a new graphics card. I have been playing gta 5 a lot lately and i am tired of using high texture settings instead of very high because my vram usage is too high. i have a set amount of 200 dollars and i at least want 3gb of vram and a card that can perform better than my 660 ti.
