  1. If I use an ac power adapter, I have tried the stock charger from my old s20 fe, and a compatible 25W charger, along with 2 separate cables, I only get standard charge rate and it only charges if I plug it in 1 way and is unstable. If I plug into my computer it's stable and I get fast charge both ways. I have tried everything I can think of short of sending phone in to get parts replaced if needed
  2. got the issue sorted, it was 1 of 3 things or a combination of the 3 cpu needed reseating ReBAR windows wanting to be nuked and reinstalled
  3. you either have 1/2XXX and apu support OR 3/5000 with 5000 apu support, not both
  4. what version of winderps? W11 22h2 has a known stutter issue in games
  5. The fact that the bios, windows and memtest sees all 32gb ram and memtest shows 0 errors when all 32gb is installed is leading me to believe that it's not being limited, also this is my board https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-b450-plus-gaming/techspec/
  6. I would assume more than 32gb considering it's a b450 with a r5 5600x installed and ram is running at 2666
  7. I have 4 sticks of ram, they all work perfectly fine alone and in pairs, but when they all in together all hell breaks loose. 4 8gb sticks all same speed and latency, all 4 show up in bios and windows, but if I try to use more than 16gb out of the 32 I get bsods and out of memory errors and things like to crash and error out as soon as I hit the 16gb ram Edit: memtest shows 0 errors on single, dual and quad config
  8. trying to figure out what i need to use, got switch console port plugged into router and its not being detected, and when its plugged strait into computer its saying that nothings connected so im not sure if it needs a special cable or if its dead or if i need any special software or anything
  9. that doesnt really give me much to go on, that assumes im already plugged into it and when i try to plug into it only port 27 comes to life but its not getting any sort of IP
  10. do you have a second cpu to test with?
  11. Just got a new switch (Huawei Quidway S3300)just wondering how would I access it and reset it, if I can't it's fine just don't really want to spend a lot on hardware to be able to reset it. Tried looking it up and everything I've seen all relies on being able to access it for a reset without showing how to access it
  12. Looking for something that can transcode or just offload the processing from the cpu, at most 2 streams will be active and 99% of things will be 720/1080 60. Will be the odd thing here and there at 4k but nothing more than that, I was thinking maybe a gt710 or similar but considering it's for an unraid docker instance would another card be better suited or should I put in the effort to have a dedicated vm for it?
  13. Signal inside is fine, it's once I walk outside, like I could be outside right next to router and through the wall signal has dropped to 20% or so.
  14. Is there a special antenna/aerial I can stick to the roof of my house to boost the range on a wifi router? House is very insulated and kills coverage when outside
  15. I know how to do it, it's just a bit hard to line colors up properly for me
  16. Thats what I do but half the time I end up putting am orange where brown needs to go or I swap a solid with a white making it so I need to redo that end of the cable
  17. Yeah, I just don't really want to have to twist wires over each other, makes it hard to keep them in the same order, was thinking of putting the same color pair together/side by side instead of the official layout. Green next to green/white then blue-blue/white and so on
  18. Does the order matter or does the order not matter along as the wire strands are the same on both ends?
  19. in docked mode, the old cheaper switch would be better since your not looking at the screen much if at all. in portable mode wouldn't the lite be better due to the size and weight of it? but maybe im just missing something
  20. fixed it, apparently cpu wanted more voltages from stock, cos ya know setting things to default means not enough voltage
  21. R5 3600 - stock B550 gaming tuf (non wifi) - main ---- Asus prime a520 - also tested Tightened ram timings from 19-19-19-43 down to 18-18-18-43 both at 3200 Windows crashed so I reset timings back to default and now I can't boot or stay booted into any OS, windows boots for about 90 seconds then forces a restart, so I tried linux from a USB (Ubuntu, popos and debian) all crash after about 5 seconds starting the installer. memtest passes, can stay in bios or easy2boot without crashes. I just can't get an os to stay booted or to boot
  22. the one im helping out doesnt like going used, already got 3 cpus and 2 boards all of which were DoA and he would like the peace of mind that if anything happens to it theres some sort of guarantee that it will just work
  23. just spent the better part of 2 hours trying to out if its worth going for, cant find any solid numbers either way, anyone know if its a good side grade, and no spending another $50 is not an option for the most part the 6300 works "fine" for current usage, would like something that works just as well or better that isnt used parts for 200 or less with 16gb ram (cos ya know minecraft) 1280x1024 monitor most intensive game played is minecraft on cpu gta 5 on gpu most other games can be played on a toaster powered by a half eaten potato
