I am putting together a computer to be used in a Machine Shop for 3D modeling and gcode generation. We will mainly be running MasterCam on it whose system requirements can be found here. I do not need any peripherals, monitors, or windows. I live in the US near a MicroCenter. The parts with manually entered prices on the PCPartPicker list were found at my local MicroCenter with the exception for the P2000 which was found here. My questions are: Is this the cheapest build for the specs? Are these quality components? Is it overkill or underpowered? Whats the difference between this P2000 for $389.99 and this P2000 for $439.99? Thank you, Alex - W3AWP PCPartPicker Part List CPU: Intel Core i7-9700 3 GHz 8-Core Processor ($279.99) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Gigabyte B360 HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($49.99) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($124.99) Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($114.99) Video Card: PNY Quadro P2000 5 GB Video Card ($389.99) Case: DIYPC DIY-BG01 ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.97 @ Newegg Business) Power Supply: Fractal Design Integra M 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($63.99 @ Newegg Business) Total: $1088.90 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-07-31 21:45 EDT-0400

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) acquires Mobileye (NYSE:MBLY) for $63.54 per share. The company says the $15.3B deal will position it as a leading technology provider in the autonomous vehicle industry, seen as a $70B market by 2030. INTC -1.61% premarket to $35.33. MBLY +33.30% to $63.01. Alright so here is where I am at. For a my teacher gave us a topic to do a project on and no other rubric and wanted us to "surprise him" with our projects. So I decided to create a forum website. Now here is where I am at, today at school I go to the site and it is blocked on their network. I talked to the IT guy this morning and he said he has to talk to the superintendent of schools before anything can get done..... I have to present this later today so I thought I'll just download the site locally and pull it up that way. I did this using full website backup tool with cpanel then I downloaded the backup and unzipped it using winrar. However I cannot figure out how to actually open the site locally from those files. The public_html file is not saved as a .HTML but instead as a folder. How can I open this backup locally??

I couldn't find any comparisons between these two, but I was wondering how much of an improvement in games, if any, the i3 6100 would give me. My current GPU is a GTX 950 and it sits at about around 50% usage while my current CPU (5600k) is at 100% usage. Would an i3 6100 remove this bottlenecking in games like Arma 3?

Any suggestions on a laptop for under $1000 USD? I am looking for it to hold up to 4 years of college so a solid build quality is a must. I am not looking to do gaming on it, however would appreciate a small graphics card so in 4 years the laptop won't feel sluggish in graphics intensive tasks. Also battery has to be able to last a day of note taking and web browsing. I prefer the feel of a laptop over a 2in1 or tablet like a surface. Thanks for your suggestions!

I have already done that and actually watched the exact video earlier.

I would not waste everyone's time by posting this if I knew I had hacks installed that could be the problem.

I got a new gaming laptop today, and went to play some CS:GO. While trying to join a competitive match I got the error "Matchmaking failed: your connection to matchmaking servers is not reliable." I then ran a test on speedtest.net and got a ping of 17, down of 85mbps and upload of 82mbps, a connection that is more than enough for CS:GO. I then tired validating the cache for the game through steam, running the game as admin, reinstalling the game, trying ethernet and wireless, and turning off my firewall. I can run the game fine, and have been running the game fine on my desktop for about a year now and have never once got this issue. My desktop is on the same internet connection. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I was looking for a laptop that is small and portable enough for school, while still able to run games like CSGO smoothly. I also do editing in Premiere and After Effects. I came across this one http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y700-series/y700-14-inch/#SYSTEM and it was the best I could find in the price range. If you have any other suggests let me know. Otherwise I think I will go with this.

Or the $112 optical drive...

What went way over? The voltage or the clock speed?

Easily enough.

Yes, he does lots of video editing and is into photography. He will need the storage. Also I can change the board, Z board is pointless for a non-overclockable chip.

This is a build I made for my friend. The computer is going to mainly be used for gaming. The budget is around $650, however we went over a bit. We are in the U.S. and he need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and windows key. Does anyone have any suggestions for a laptop around $400 for school use. I would prefer something 13 inches and under so it would be easily portable.

The NEX PSU's are not the best in quality....I learned that the hard way. Maybe opt for a higher quality PSU. Refer to this thread, it does a great job breaking down all the most popular PSU's,

I live in the US, and my friend would prefer new parts, however last gen "new" parts are fine.

My friend need a gaming PC that is about $650. He need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS and wireless card, along with the tower. I tried to make him a build and found it hard to do with all the extras while staying in the budget. Thanks for your help guys, you're all always great!

I have a Hyper 212x, and I can hit 4.7GHz at temps of 65C while running AIDA64 stress test. The Hyper 212 evo is very similar to the 212x, if I were using a 212 evo instead of the 212x, I think that I would get 70C instead of 65C. So either are amazing cooler for the price.

I have sketchup, but didn't think about using it, do you think they will be 100% accurate?
