  1. G-Sync should be something that didnt cost an additional 200$+ or more to get. Americans may think that their G-Sync module monitors are expensive, well.. The cheapest decent ones you can get around here is 500$+ and that is a AOC 24'' 144hz 1080p.. There are 4k monitors with G-Sync, but they're easily 600-800$.. Its retarded.
  2. X99 is not dead at all, theres not a new enthutiast platform, so X99 is still the leading platform, further more its currently the strongest platform as well.
  3. https://gyazo.com/209375d49bd6a7ab9e5466ddb042e11d However I reckon the account is worth more due to its Steam ID length and it being ''easy''.
  4. Prove me wrong then, its a cheap good board. M.2 4x slots, you can even get a USB 3.1 version, Multi Bios function, on-board Reset, Turn on, and so on, honestly for that price, that is truely a find.
  5. Not really you can find very good boards for 160$+ like MSI SLI Plus, it has some really cool features. But honestly, if you are going to spare a total of 50$ on a build, you're too picky, get X99.
  6. X99 and Skylake costs the same in Europe, so no point in getting Skylake, heck even Broadwell is more expensive.
  7. Try and crank something that is more powerful into the system, and you'll see how the cheaper CPUs will go out quickly. Just look at Jayz system, 3 Titan X bios hacked if im not mistaken, and those will put your CPU behind, so you must overclock the CPU.
  8. Its horrible living in Europe when it comes to hardware, danish too.
  9. I've encountered websites that constantly give you pop-ups, and advertisements EVERYWHERE you look, and annoying ''follow'' advertisements, that sometimes even ruins a website, because they make it impossible to click ''exit'' on your mobile devices. and that is why I got adblock. I dont mind supporting those who deserve it, but huge companies that is already making buck and is fucking everyone over by these retarded techniques, is killing everyone else.
  10. I haven't really tested out mine, as my cooling unit is undoubtly not the best, its only a 120mm aio cooler, hence why I dont want to go up in voltages yet, but I reckon if I had a good cooling unit, either custom or just a really good one, i'd try and see if I couldn't hit 4.7Ghz.
  11. Well it all depends, do you want to lower your tempatures? If you honestly do not care, 1.300v is fine, I've got mine set to 1.310 at 45x and thats where I've gotten mine stabled, I were able to get 46x at 1.310 stable in stress test, but it failed too much on gameplay. Honestly, if you're in the 60-70's range its not bad at all, i'd say start lowering it if you were in the 70's range all or most of the time. But then again, some want to find the sweet spot, so if thats you go for it, go for 0.05 decreasements.
  12. Im not saying he must do it, but its more of if I were to spend $2500 I'd choose in between either of these, else I would of taken the good bits and adjusted it.
  13. Go for X99, Z170 doesnt make sense unless you are below the price range / performance of X99. Meaning, i5 and below. The i7 6700k costs the same or more (depending on where you live) as the i7 5820k, and same goes with all the other components you need. So why not get X99? and yes this will suit you alot better for multi tasking, video editing and gaming. It also gives you more headroom to go more than just 2 or even 3 way SLI. The 5960x will first begin to get problems when it gets into Titan X 3-way SLI Territory. If you're referring to $2500, i'd go with this -> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nydqnQ or this one, if you want more GPU bound power -> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/x2w3D3 Full system -> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BYK7jX Personally I would do that 3-way storage setup, as you could use the 850 Evo for windows boot & and games, where you could use the WD Black for mass storage of finished video projects, and the intel 750 SSD for the ongoing projects to make the workflow less painfull.
  14. That is above average from what I've seen, however is this stable after 12+ hours of stress testing and/or game playing? As i've noticed that sometimes you can get stable stress tests, but can't get it stable at the same settings in games.
  15. Nope, just because batteries is the limit right now, doesn't mean it will ever haul desktops ass. Desktops are always superior to Laptops, as they dont ''have'' to lower the size of the components so much, and hence why you pay more for a laptop, because you are forcing the manufactor to shrink their components.
  16. Well if they are the same pricing, why not choose X99 over Z170?
  17. X99.. Z170 is the same cost and makes no sense in my opinion, atleast if you take the top models of Z170 and compare it to i7 5820k.
  18. Why on earth would you choose LGA 1151 over 2011-v3? Espicially here in Scandinavia, the new platform/socket makes no sense, they cost more than 2011-v3, espicially with your build. Heres the items I would personally choose, you could change the rams to a more budget minded version which would be the ''Crucial DDR4 2133Mhz (4x4GB)'' which costs 1125 SEK. You would get more features for less money, and you would also get more power from the CPU, which will surely benefit you overall, further more you get ''superfast M.2'' and USB 3.1 (which is 3.1 not 3.0 revised). I have the MSI X99A SLI Plus (Yes its a cheap board, but honestly it has a ton of features that surprised me) with the i7 5820k and a pair of Crucials cheap 4x4Gb kit, and I've gotten up to 4.5Ghz at 1.310V which is stable, i've even gotten up to 4.6Ghz but had a few tweak problems here and there during gaming. https://gyazo.com/939a979648823bcb74189edee1ec12d9
  19. Absurdly overclock it? Not really, most of the chips can get to 4.0 Ghz and i've got mine cranked to 4.5 Ghz, had it sitting at 4.6 Ghz, but couldn't bother with the extra volts, as I am sitting on 1.310.
  20. Just because a company doesnt have a huge market share, but has a really great product, doesn't mean they're not a competitor for Apple or Samsung. If they're not a competitor, why would anyone buy them?
  21. Not where Im from. The iPhone 6+ or whatever it is called, were 1200$ when it came out, and a regular one was 900-1000$, which is beyond insane. The OnePlus Two costs the same in Denmark as in US.
  22. Thats rather funny you say that, as everyone else who has had their hands on OnePlus One or Two says the uppersite. They are up to 1/3 of the price of Apple products and 1/2 of Samsung products, personally I love the Samsung product range, but im not paying 1000$ for a smartphone, its one of those things that is not so important, unlike your desktop. The OnePlus Two has equal performance to Samsung/Apples flagships, but is so much cheaper and works pretty much the same way as any other given Android device.
  23. Alright so everyone knows that portable SSDs are not really cheap, I just saw that they have some decent pricing on Samsung portable SSDs. http://promotions.newegg.com/samsung/15-1880/index.html?cm_sp=Homepage_MidRight-_-samsung%2f15-1880-_-http%3a%2f%2fpromotions.newegg.com%2fsamsung%2f15-1880%2f300x120.jpg&icid=312796
  24. Im sitting at 1478 (225 offset) which actually is 1564 Mhz, going to do some stability test either tonight or tomorrow.
