  2. I have a Samsung Netbook NP-N102S. But since i have bought it, I ams stuck with Win 7 Starter Pack. This OS version is very limited, I do not have permissions to change the wallpaper and many other such stuff.... I have read at various place that the starter pack of win 7 is slower than the full version. I have tried the following: 1.) Tried to run the XP installation from usb....but the Install option is blocked.(have checked the installer on another computer....works fine) 2.) Tried to install XP by making a bootable pen drive with Win2USB.....Now a new problem.....during installation, the internal disc is not recognised.... XP is trying to get installed into the pen drive....tried Rufus to make the pendrive bootable OS.....same prob....internal HDD is not being identified... Any help!!!

  6. Hmm.... Could you guys please suggest me a configuration within 350$ for slightly above average use which would not have to part from me for another 3 years or so.....
  7. My computer configuration: Age: 7-8 yrs old ( ) Processor: Intel Pentium 4 at 2.66 GHz Motherboard: Intel D101GGC RAM: 1.5 GB OS: Windows XP Professional SP3 I do not use a UPS for my system. Sometimes, when there is a power cut, when all my household devices switch to my Home Inverter, CPU switches off....but the keyboard and mouse still have there bulbs glowing (though the cpu is "OFF"). I have been facing a weird problem since a month or two.On turning on the PC initially, the keyboard LEDs blink once and the mouse LED starts glowing as usual. But, after windows loads, they do not work!! the mouse still has power supply but moving it doesn't move the pointer. The keyboard goes dead(none of the keys work). But the USB mouse works fine. On restarting the system once or twice, they start working again. This happens again the next day!!(about 10 hrs later). Is it some hardware failure or some sort of virus!?!
