  1. Update 2 years later.... So, I am really stupid. This did not fix my issue at all. I just wasnt fully paying attention. This is still a current issue and seems to be an issue with Windows. The stuttering has not gone away. This shit is really annoying and needs to be fixed. The videos below demonstrate the issue perfectly.
  2. he did a hardware review channel on youtube. Had a goth girlfriend (I think it was his girlfriend) and did a podcast with a heavier guy and they had a falling out. I cannot think of the channel. The main host had a goatee and was kind of a dick. Their logo was a globe on fire or something like that.
  3. Update: I Seem to have resolved my issue. I had seen in other forums that in Nvidia Control Panel to switch all the monitors to GPU rather than Display under "Adjust desktop size and position - Perform scaling on: My secondary 1440p monitor only had a DVI-D adapter and the only option for this monitor under the Nvidia settings was GPU. I unplugged it and hooked up another 1440p monitor with display port and hooked that up to my second video card, switched all other monitors to "Display" and kept my main monitor to "GPU" and that seemed to have fixed my stuttering issues. I jumped in a game of Fortnite and no i was not getting 165fps with max graphics but was MUCH more stready and wasnt experiencing random fps drops and videos/streams on my other 1440p monitor are now playing smoothly. Seemed to fix my issue. Unsure why this is but on other forums most are suggesting to switch all monitors to GPU. Unsure why this would be different for me.
  4. I have looked into this for days and can not seem to get this to work. I got a xb271hu for christmas and figured it would be just pnp but i have 4 other monitors that are at 60hz, (1 1440p and 3 1080p). Did a lot of reading into this and apparently from what ive read i need to turn down my monitor to 120hz because syncing issues which cause stuttering on other monitors and low fps in games. I have also taken my old gtx 760 and put that in my computer with all the 60hz monitors hooked to that and my new monitors xb271hu hooked up to my 1080ti and i am still experiencing issues. I am not sure what else to do from here. I have just freshly reformatted and everything is up to date. Ive turned off v-sync and played around with turning off gsync as well and it doesnt seem to be making a difference. any help is greatly appreciated. i just want things to run smooth even if i cant get to 165hz.... the stuttering is annoying the hell out of me and i cant even game because all the dips in fps Edit: another thing i have noticed is that Desktop Window Manager keeps hitting my gpu usage randomly and spiking it quite a bit even just sitting idle getting up to 35% at times, just watching a youtube video it has hit up to 54% and that is at 360p quality... what the hell? Edit2: I have also been running https://testufo.com/ and anytime i have a browser open on any of my other monitors other than my main display the issue starts with the syncing problem. I thought that turning it down to 120hz and setting the monitors to GPU rather than Display in Nvidia Control Panel was supposed to correct this? Edit3: Disabling Use hardware acceleration when available in Chrome has cleared up videos playing on another monitor with games open but im still experiencing a pretty big fps drop when any animation is playing on another monitor...
  5. says that has never been dropped. I know he might be and is probably lying to try and sell it. think i just got excited because it is much cheaper than original price and was hopeful it would be something simple like a bad cable or video card issue on his end. there are also almost 0 g-sync 1440p monitors for sale in my area. oh well i guess. thanks
  6. I have been looking to upgrade my friends computer as well and was able to snag a 4670k for 80 bucks. Check Offerup and Craigslist. I am still searching for a motherboard. I had one lined up and the guy never showed but did find another compatible motherboard for 45 bucks. depends on your location and how patient you can be. just keep looking. there are some good people out there not over pricing the crap out of used hardware
  7. Looking to get a new monitor and found this post. https://imgur.com/a/dBbES. Acer XB270HU. This is the perfect monitor for me but says that it get this random thing happens but most of the time the monitor works fine. Have not heard back on how long this has been happening after purchase or if he was trying to overclock it. I did a little bit of research and saw some suggestions of it could possibly be the cables or some settings that could be disabled but unsure. Wanted to see if anyone else has had experience like this or if this is worth the risk. says it doesnt happen very often and when it does, pressing on the back of the monitor fixes the issue.... not sure what that means though
