Now I'm probably on the wrong forum but I thought I'd start here anyway, I have an Antminer S1 connected to a CX600 PSU it makes some interference on the 105.9FM range on my radio whilst tuned in (105.9FM is Heart Wales) I have tryed using different power strips and many different locations of the "Rig" but all seem to make static noises on the radio. Is there any way the PSU is outputting some kind of radio waves or is just a Monday special edition? All the psu is doing is supplying 12V 33A to the PCI Express 6pin thingy's which is powering each blade, The interference only happens when it starts mining. Any suggestions/ideas are all helpful -TheTechWarrior (GridseedsFTW On zet.thecoin.pw)

Whats the point of having a G-Sync monitor when you have an AMD card that isnt compatible with G-Sync?

What is so bad about Alienware Laptops?

So in my school there is a web filtering system called IronPort this is a gigantic pain in the arse and causes many websites with certain keywords to be blocked. here's the issue: a program on my memory stick that needs Java moans that there is no java and closes, so i went to Portableapps.com and it used to work but it isnt allowed "because the category 'Freeware and Shareware' is not allowed" so i tried on my phone and bluetoothed it over but to my disgust the GOVERNMENT has access to all of the computers and all the user profiles.... this causes a MAJOR problem as i cannot dump an .exe file in my "user" as it says "Operation disabled by the system administrator" as the systems only run a dual core CPU at 2.4GHz that is majorly SLOW, causes a major issue indeed. . . I cannot access C:\ but using WinRAR unplugged (Portable) i can access and copy items out and not in. This is an issue because the systems do not have java installed and i cannot dump the .exe there. D: as Google is my best friend i searched : -What is it , -How to bypass , -Proxies , and loads more. . I searched "How to bypass IronPort" and a Yahoo! answers page popped up so i clicked as near enough all the Cisco webpages are not functional - the page looks like a list with no images and plain text hyperlinks are displayed and work but turn purple and then don't work. I sort of can get past this by for example going to Mediafire - "blocked because the web category 'File Transfer Services' is not allowed." if I change the URL to https://mediafire.comthe site warms up and i can access it and all of its functions. But if I leave it as http://mediafire.com it will not access and shows the " blocked because the web category "File Transfer Services" is not allowed." screen. Now i have java portable it had to be the wrong one (Typical!!) and it has no .exe bundled within the extracted files. -TheTechWarrior

Using a NUC for Twitch Streaming?
TheTechWarrior replied to Tyrannosaur's topic in General Discussion
Oh but wouldn't it be easier? -
one day i decided to pop open a computer to see how it worked to my fascination it was actually quite simple a bunch of wires going to a large circuit board. the pc i obtained from a nearby computer shop creatively named "Computershop" as it was DOA they decided to give the "DOA" Compaq presario SG3500UK to me this had a cooked XFX Geforce 250x and a dead 350w psu as the customer had brought it in for a repair/replacement psu. I replaced the dead psu and attempted to boot it but no avail the 250x is toasted and no fix... so i took the full pc to another nearby computer shop and they charged me £20 just for diagnosis and all they had to say was "the psu is dead" i knew it wasnt so i busted out the Almighty Google and googled why it wasnt working. "no results found" after removing the gpu and its cooler i noticed that the card had cooked RAM and MANY scorch marks around and on the GPU, the pc recently died due to the drive corrupting windows and BSODing every time i booted. I had that pc for 2 years and its specs were : 512MB Ram (SAMSUNG) WD Caviar SE 160GB Intel pentium D (dual core 2.4GHz) Then i found Linus. . . . . the new pc rised from the ashes and is scoring around 1114.7 in pcmark (unknown version) I also have a BBC Micro B+ basic computer that still works to this date from a long lifes work as a school computer datestamped as 1981 vintage! (older than me!)
