  1. Oh wow thank you so much, that looks far better!
  2. Okay thank you, I have updated it now to have dual channel, and will keep an eye on the prices over the next few days.
  3. I am planning on building a first gaming PC, mainly for playing PUBG, but may also be other games. The budget of it is £900-1000 (GBP) for a whole setup. It will only need to be running the one monitor, which along with all the peripherals should be in the budget. Any help and advice would be happily received. Here is a link to the current PCpartpicker list I have set up: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dazz/saved/Z3fP3C UPDATE Here is the new parts list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/NcJ4YT Thanks in advance, Dazz
  4. I think for the new PC I will go with an EVGA 650W G3 as it is a good price.
  5. It was a green and the one they returned to me now is a grey, so fingers crossed that means this one will be a lot better. (I am not fully replacing my current PC as I will need one at my parents home and one at my Uni flat)
  6. It is a CX750M, I was warned not to go with them and ignored it. All I really want to do with the PSU now is as cheap and reliable as I can get.
  7. I have a corsair atm and have had to have it RMA'd already, so not going back to them
  8. Yes, the monitor type is important to me, and does the motherboard have a place for an M.2 SSD in it?
  9. Yeah it does look nice, but this is not a build which I have aiming to be aesthetic, it is just to jam it all together for as cheap as I can and be able to use it.
  10. Thank you, I have changed it to be something more like this, could you please check out the new one at: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dazz/saved/sYqqkL , thank you for the help
  11. Thank you, some of the points on there are great additions
  12. Yeah that seems like a good idea, not something I had considered
  13. Hi, I am building myself a new PC for going to uni later in September with a tight budget of £1,200 and would prefer to keep it around £1,000 if possible. (this is all UK buying). The idea is that I will be able to use it for all of the work that I need to do and also to game for the next 3 years as I will not have any money for later upgrades. I plan on running only the one 1080p monitor which can be found on the list, however that may be changed as long as it is one which may rotate to allow for portrait use, this is important to me as I will be coding and like to see it all. I do not need any other peripherals and will be purchasing Windows 10 in addition to this. Also the mini-ITX form factor and case are important to me for what little transportability it adds, along with having a WiFi motherboard as I can not use an expansion card for that in a motherboard such as this one. Here is the link to the PCPartPicker I have configured it on: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dazz/saved/sYqqkL Thank you for reading this and thanks in advance for any advice. Dazz. UPDATE: New parts list with considerations: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Dazz/saved/sYqqkL
  14. I would guess so, it was still in the film. However I have sorted it out now with some not so legit seeming method, thanks anyway
  15. There is a manual that has nothing in it, and in the readme it just states that the disc must be in when running it
