  1. The Aria headphones just look amazing, I want one
  2. Thanks but I was talking about the GE72 which is a little bit bigger than the GS70 but not as quite desktop replacement as the GT72 (definitely too "desktop replacement" for me). I looked into clevo but if I want to have a hard drive and a 128go ssd and a windows licence (which msi includes), it goes far over my budget, at least in my area PS: your guide on mobile cpu is very interesting
  3. My budget is around 1600€ and both of these laptops are available with GTX970m in my area for this price
  4. I'm searching for a 17" thin gaming laptop and I found bot of these laptop to suit my needs, however they're so similar I'm having trouble choosing between them, and I'm looking for some advice. Only 50€ set them apart the GE72 and the GS70. Is there a important change between GE and GS series I'm might not be aware of ? I know the TN panel of the GS70 is good for a TN panel but what about the GE72 ? Does any of you have experience with one of them, I'll be glad to read it ! Then do you think back exhaust, reduce the noise compared to side exhaust ? Do you think the GE has better cooling ? Does a i7-5700HQ (GE72) better than a i7-4710HQ (GS70) are basically the same except the first one is 14nm instead of 22nm, do you think that changes anything ? The GS70 does have the edge with the design (just lacking the DVD player but who cares?) I hope you can help me to choose PS: No "build a real PC, it's cheaper and better" please

  6. Sad news I mean it works ok on mobile so I believe it couldn't be that bad. Thanks for your answer. EDIT: please update the FAQ as I don't believe there's anything in there about this issue .
  7. It probably sound dumb to you but I don't see how to search the forum on my desktop. It works fine on the mobile site but I don't know what to do and the only tutorial I found hasn't been very helpful (http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1313-how-to-use-the-search-engine/) So please help anyone
  8. I think I will go for the 9H steelseries. Thanks every one for your help. EDIT: After using them them for a few weeks here is a review : They sound good, the connectors seems not so good at first glance but they are. Dolby works only with the steelseries engine I thought the sound card did it. The noise isolation is ok for closed back headphones but just enough to let you concentrate on your work no more.
  9. Thanks for the answer. I don't think there is any noise cancelling possible in my price range. Do you think 9H increased price is justified ? So there's probably no real difference in noise isolation between this headsets. As a little aside do you think iems could provide way better noise isolation without degrading the sound quality too much ?
  10. If someone could rank them by isolation it would be great because reviews always say "it has a good isolation"/"it has a bad isolation" but never relative to each other Thanks for the idea, some people seems to think it's bad for gaming, any one ?
  11. Hi, I'm looking for headphones with a good noise isolation, so probably closed back headphones, are they that bad for gaming ? Requirements: - Good isolation ! - Not too bassy or weird 'gaming' response, even if I want to use for gaming I also want t watch series or listen to music Mic is a bonus so if you have an idea of good headphones meeting this requirements go ahead Fot now I have these few ideas: Kingston Hyper X Cloud, Steelseries 5Hv3 and siberia v2. Which do you think is best ?
