  1. Currently i have all the files that i am editing/using on my computer and then transferring old files to portable hard drives. My main goal is to have all the files on the NAS when i edit them and just access them over the network. And i currently can't afford an offsite or a second location for the files, so this one unit would house the only copies of the files so i definitely would want redundancy within the unit.
  2. Hello everybody! I do a lot of video/photo editing and have terabytes of videos and i was thinking of building a NAS/Server to hold all my data. Therefore, what software/operating system would you recommend? and what do you think my plan of attack should be? I don't want to spend over $1000, but i am flexible up to that price point.
  3. I would like a Kiro, since i am still using a cheap staples mouse for gaming that the rubber grip pads are falling off. TIA
  4. Stupid question but are all of your drivers up to date?
  5. Just a question off of this. Can a WiFi card be split between both "systems"?
  6. It's fine don't worry about it. If it gets above like 80 degrees then i would worry

  10. First of all thank you for your time. I have been experiencing some issues with my computer. First whenever i booted the computer, it would freeze right after the BIOS when the little circle loading thing was. So i thought, must be a problem with the install of windows and i did a fresh install on it (There is an SSD boot drive and an HDD for storage). However, whenever the computer would try to continue the install on the SSD, it would freeze as it was installing. After that, i thought i could have been an SSD hardware issue, so i proceeded to install windows on the HDD, and it froze in the exact same spot. I am completely clueless as to what the issue could be now. All thoughts and ideas are extremely appreciated. Please help me, it is around the holidays and I want this fixed for my brother. Thanks. Mike
  11. Looking at the specs, which monitor is best. I don't care about the size, just tell me which one is better. Thanks in advance!
