My friend brought his Nvidia Shield tablet into school to play hearthstone today. He was sitting in the halls, and one kid was pushing another kid around (not a fight, just teenage boys doing what they do), when one fell. The falling kids elbow landed right on the screen of the tablet, shattering it. The device is completely unusable, there is maybe a 1cm sliver of screen that still displays anything, and I have no idea if the touchscreen works.
So my question is, is screen/digitizer replacement for this particular tablet feasible? If so, what are some reputable sources from which to inquire for such a service? and what kind of price tag might he be looking at?
