My friends were saying my old Turtle Beach X12's were making bad static and other random noises in Skype. Most people said it was the mic that was on it. So I bought the ModMic 4.0 Omni-Directional and disconnected the old TB mic and i'm using the ModMic. About a month after I started using the ModMic my friend said it was making static again. Its plugged into the back of my motherboard and the audio drivers are up to date. My motherboard is an MSI 970 Gaming. What could be my problem?
Another reason why I was wondering if I needed to upgrade is that according to the recommended specs for GTA 5, they recommend an 8350. Also I do some 3D modeling and im not sure if this cpu is very good for that or not.
Okay I ran 2 benchmarks. Thought I had Heaven installed but I didnt. In Valley my average fps was 60.5. In FireStrike, I got a score of 8851. Here is the link, http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6433696.
Ive been told by a few people that my FX-6350 is bottlenecking my GTX 970. Could this be true? If I need to upgrade I was thinking about the 4690k and an MSI Z97 Gaming 5.
Right now im using my old Turtle Beach X12's. Ive had them for a few years but they are starting to break. I accidentally sat on them last night . They cracked and are being held together with super glue. What is a good headset with a mic that costs around $100?
