  1. I have just build a new computer, all fully custom watercooled. I have a GTX 770 Gigabyte Z97X SOC Force 16gb of Mushkin Enchanced Blackline (used in a previous build) i7 4770k (used in a previous build) Samsung 840 EVO 120 gb (used in a previous build) WD Green 2 tb (used in a previous build) Corsair AX 760i Power Supply (used in a previous build) After installing all drivers, I noticed that occasionally I would get blue screens: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 BCCode: 9f BCP1: 0000000000000003 BCP2: FFFFFA800CA48A10 BCP3: FFFFF80001BDA3D8 BCP4: FFFFFA8011C84C00 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\021115-13026-01.dmp C:\Users\VinceOffice\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-17253-0.sysdata.xml Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Is there a fix to this? Thinking about reinstalling windows, but was wondering if there is a specific file related to this blue screen, really bugging me now. Oh yeah, and the fact that my computer will not shut down is also causing me to ponder the question if the blue screen and the shutdown issues are linked together in some way.
  2. NObrand fittings are okay as long as they look to be high quality
  3. You're probably right. My case had negative airflow and overall not much air movement.
  4. I think this one is pretty muched solved. The NZXT Kraken x61 is THE best aio liquid cooler on the market currently. I have had experience with both the h100i and kraken x61 and I prefer the x61 because of its cooling performance. Idles with the Kraken were 10 degrees lower, at 25-29 while h100i was giving me 35-40 (occasionally 45). I ruled out thermal paste application method when I reinstalled the cooler with Shin-Etsu. (temps dropped 3 degrees, but still worse than x61) Loads were similar 60s for h100i, mid to low 50s for x61. It boils down to the top coolers for all of the companies, it really doesn't matter which one you buy if you don't care about that extra 2 degrees, BUT if you DO care, go with the x61 because it has basically the biggest cooler out there with a dense fin design. Cooler master nepton 28-L, Swifttech's Coolers, Corsair H110, h105, and NZXT's Kraken x61 are ALL good liquid coolers. Thank you
  5. The deal was 770 sli with waterblocks for $350. 970 plus ek waterblock is more than $450. What I think I am going to do is buy the 770s and wait for 980 to go down in price, buy that in 1 or 2 years and stick the 770s in another system. All I am really playing atm (in terms of games) is LoL and Starcraft so... Idk... Does anyone have benchmarks comparing 770 sli to single 970? Thank you
  6. I would buy another hard drive, high capacity (3 or 4 tb) WD Reds are a little unnecessary for just 2 hard drives but a good choice nevertheless. Do you have a budget? You could always buy an external hard drive for your movies, that way if you wanted to play it on another computer, you could just haul it over and plug it in. Thanks
  7. I dont have another 770. I am upgrading from a 660, it has served me well, but it's 3 years later and I want an upgrade I emailed the person and seeing if I can get the 770s and waterblocks for $350. I got another computer with an i5, and some crappy enty level amd gpu that I can stick the 660 in, or the two 770s if I end up upgrading to a 1000 series nvidia gpu (who knows about the naming scheme) or maybe a 390x, I've heard its a beast of a gpu, but not coming out till the summer ill let you know if I get the 770s. Thanks everyone for looking at my thread
  8. Hello everyone, I am at a dilemma. I am starting my acrylic watercooling build and found two Asus Direct Cu2 770's with full EK waterblocks on craigslist for $350!
