  1. That's what I was leaning towards it being, I knew vender 8086 was intel. Thanks for the help. Appreciate it.
  2. Just got my new Asus Z490-E strix gaming motherboard and I've installed the chipset and lan after updating the bios but i cannot figure out what this missing device is. Any help would be appreciated. Hardware Ids PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&SUBSYS_86941043&REV_00 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&SUBSYS_86941043 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&CC_078000 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_06E0&CC_0780 Location PCI bus 0, device 22, function 0
  3. I purchased two Model O mice, one for me and one for my wife. Having a strange occurrence thought. On a fresh boot of windows i am getting a weird "blue screen" not bsod. Just sits there for a few seconds. On a reboot i get the USB device being unplugged and plugged back in chime. Both of these issues occur with both mice on both computers and only with these mice. The stranger part is if i plug one of these mice into my sons computer or either of our laptops everything seems fine. All of the pcs are on Windows 10 1903 with most recent cumulative update applied. I've tried everything i can think of from changing legacy usb support to messing with secure boot. Uninstalled all previous usb devices and made sure the chipsets were up to date. On the one pc, went as far as a complete reformat and still the same thing lol. The only common denominator between the systems if they both have Asus motherboards but so does my sons that appears to work fine. I literally can't find anything online of people having a similar issue which is odd when i'm having the issue with two separate mice and pcs. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Right i need new spring screws for the stock cooler but i'm not sure if they are the right size or a better place to purchase.
  5. Does anyone know if these are the correct spring screws for the stock cooler block? Possibly somewhere else i can purchase something like this. Not having much luck finding them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-Video-Graphics-Card-GPU-VGA-Cooler-Heatsink-Mount-Spring-Screws-/283343257761
  6. Just a quick question if anyone has some insight. Does WMDT test the ram at current speed or default it for testing?
  7. It doesnt have a built in encoder but i dont see why h.264 cpu encode would not work.
  8. Elgato 4k60 pro should too. Much cheaper. Says it can handle 600mhz. 1440p 144 is high 500s.
  9. Will be streamed at 1080p 60 but i needed something that can except 1440p 165 on the stream pc. Just using NDI right now but its.... less than perfect if you will.
  10. Right. Trying to not compromise. The 4k60 pro should do 144hz. Right, yeah didnt think of the physical connection aspect. Well then lol.
  11. Doesnt have to be consumer. Arent video production firms capturing 8k+?
  12. Im trying to find a capture device that can handle 1440p 165hz. The elgato 4k60 pro cannot. Only goes to 600MHz pixel clock. 1440p 165hz exceeds that. Anyone have a suggestion. I know i could extend my display but i do not wanna do that or i would go a different route all together.
  13. If anyone else is having this issue i found the solution. Open chrome://flags Find "Enable using the Google NTP" Enable this setting Relaunch chrome
  14. I have chrome set to open new tab page on startup. Previously the page looked like the first picture below. Which is what i want. Now it opens like the second picture and i can't figure out how to change it back. Once it is launched, if i open a second "New Tab" page it looks correct. Any ideas? I have restored chrome to default as well as uninstalled and reinstalled it. I checked on my wife's computer and hers is actually doing the same thing.
