  1. Hi. I haven't tried installing multiple gpus on my system before so i wanted to ask for help. Is it possible to install my old GTX 970 into one of my other PCI-e slots and if so, how do i do it? Drivers and such i mean. Sorry if these seem like simple questions but i've read conflicting information on the internet about it so i'm not sure how to do it. My setup is a 650W power supply and a ASUS ROG Hero VII motherboard. I've already checked up on the PCI-e stuff for it and other forum posts say PCI-e 2.0 8x is enough for today's GPUs (don't know if that is true though) Thanks in advance.
  2. I hate seeing the judder/screen tearing on Netflix when i watch it on my monitor. Is there any way to get rid of the judder?
  3. 80C is my max for gpu's since their thermal max is 90c
  4. Aircooled GTX 970 Strix Temps are not really that high, the highest i saw it reach was 74c
  5. My stock voltage is 1.2v. After testing for an hour in BF1 i get some minor artifacting so i changed the offset in Afterburner to +150 clock speed and will try that.
  6. Yes i meant 1.18 lol. It never reaches 1500MHz in 3DMark Firestrike because of the power limit but i guess i will just lower the oc a bit so it doesn't exceed the power limit.
  7. I was doing some overclocking on my 970 and got to around 1500MHz and set the power limit to 120 from 100% with Unigine Superposition at 1.2v. I then stress tested it with 3DMark since Unigine doesn't have a free looptest and i noticed that the 3DMark stresstest hit the power limit constantly which got my clock speed down to 1470 and 1.18v. Why does Superposition only get to around 110% and 3DMark at 120%? Which one is the most realistic for a game? Does it just mean that i can't overclock it further without modifying the BIOS (which i don't want to)? I am using MSI afterburner.
  8. Yeah i know but currently i only get 50-60 fps on high and ultra which is unplayable for me. I don't have the money for a 1070 yet but i'm planning to save up for it. Also fuck the prices here they are ridiculous. Will a 650W PSU be enough?
  9. As the title says, i'm looking for a gpu that will be able to run most newer games on ultra settings in 1080p. My wallet isn't ready for 1440p yet I've been looking at the 1070 which is really expensive here(taxes, $500+) but i'm not sure if that is overkill. Edit: My current gpu is a 970.
  10. I don't have a 3D player so i would plan on playing the 2D disc that comes included. My question is, is the quality on the 2D disc better than the ordinary blu-ray?
  11. I'm planning on buying Rogue One for my blu ray player but i wanted to hear if there is any difference between the 2D version that comes with the 3D version and the normal Blu-Ray version? Is the quality the same?
  12. 120Hz + 60Hz monitor after a coldboot 144Hz + 60Hz monitor after coldboot
  13. I only changed it for 1 minute but it drops from 60 to 30-40 after some time idling on the desktop.
