Alright, I'll buy a new SSD and see if things change. The other drives on this PC weren't in great condition either so perhaps this is the root cause. Thanks for the insight!

Its a basic Kingston 960Gb SSD with 86% condition according to CrystalDiskInfo. There are two kinds of errors in the event viewer. My OS is in finnish but I think google translator did a good enough job Error code 15: "The embedded controller returned data even though no data was requested. The BIOS may try to use the embedded controller without synchronizing with the operating system. This information is ignored. No further action is required. However, ask your computer manufacturer for an updated BIOS." Error code 10016: "The application-specific access rights settings of the object do not grant the user DESKTOP-JPCQD85\Weguli, SID ID (S-1-5-21-431323335-1108619231-1637587771-1001) from LocalHost (LRPC enabled), the access right Local Activation to the COM server application whose CLSID ID is {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID is {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} and which runs in the application container Not Available, SID (Not Available). This security access right can be modified using the component services management tool." These seem to happen somewhat frequently. I guess the bios isn't working as intended? It's weird since I just updated it to the latest version... Edit: To describe the sluggishness in more detail: Just all around slow and unresponsive performance when doing basic things in the OS. Sometimes opening a small folder in file explorer can take twenty seconds, same with opening a file which just finished downloading. Things just hang for obscenely long times. It feels like I've had this Windows install for 5 years even though its only a couple hours old.

So last week I bought a used PC which was built in 2021. When examining the PC before purchase I noted it was quite slow but the userbenchmark results and the price were good enough for me to go ahead with the purchase. After the purchase I ran Cinebench R24, Unigine Heaven, CrystalDiskInfo/Mark and 4 passes of MemTest86 to benchmark the most critical components. Apart from high temps on the i9-10850k (80-90C during load) and a dead m.2 drive, everything seemed to work fine. I chalked the sluggishness of the system to the windows install, as the seller had used Windows 10's own reinstall feature instead of a full USB reinstallation before purchase. I have now moved all the components (apart from two drives) to a new case, completely reinstalled windows and updated the bios, but the unresponsiveness remains. SSD read and write speeds are decent when benchmarked with CrystalDiskMark, but extracting Cinebench to desktop took a good 5 minutes. I'm suspecting it could also have something to do with the CPU, though the cinebench scores were at expected levels for a 10850K. After reinstalling windows and getting decent results from all benchmarks, I don't really know how to proceed. Should I fiddle with CPU voltages? Are there better ways to benchmark SSDs? Could it have something to do with the motherboard? I have experienced zero crashes or bsods, the system simply performs extremely slugglishly. Any and all help is appreciated, below are the full specs. So for a couple days now Windows would freeze sometimes around 10-20 mins after boot, and today i did some cleaning up by reinstalling all video drivers, doing file integrity checks and reinstalling some C++ redistributables. So far there has been no freezes but i just noticed that my PSU wattage and GPU clocks would drop significantly at times for some reason. Heres some pics from afterburner: keep in mind that these were not taken at the same times. My temperatures are fine both CPU and GPU side so i doubt its thermal throttling as my GPU temps usually max at around 75 degrees celcius. Oh also the freezes started happening after i got myself a new table and we had to move stuff around, though all my wires seem to be inserted properly. Any ideas? Is my PSU going bad?

After the fall creators update some of my windows wont react at all, like i wouldnt have them highlighted or something, this has already happened with spotify and steam...anyone else strugglin with this? Example: I choose Steam as my main window from the taskbar and try click something but it clicks something from chrome in the background, closing a tab for example if i try press the friends button on top right in steam.

Ive had my fun modding skyrim, it doesnt really matter is it single or multiplayer as long as i can do my own thing in peace and chill.

So yesterday all of a sudden my internet went down for like 10 seconds and after that my download speeds were incredibly low and my ping rose from the normal 30 to 80 in games. I wasn't downloading neither was anyone in our house using our bandwidth at all. now i think 80 ping is still playable but on top of that all my games just had weird lag spikes, all of a sudden enemies would start to teleport back and forward in CSGO for example. I still live with my parents so i dont have complete knowledge of all of the stuff related to our connection but i do know the speed is either 50 or 100 mbps (cant remember which) and its wireless. Since we upgraded the connection last year i havent had any issues with it but now all of a sudden its acting weirdly. Using net_graph 1 in CSGO i saw there was no packet loss or choke and my ping did not go up and down. The Speedtest app also said our connection had 0% packet loss. Today when i came back home my donwload speeds have returned back to normal but the lag in games still persists. Ive tried reinstalling CSGO, switching cables and ive monitored our connection to see if anything is hogging our bandwidth but theres nothing special there to be seen. Any ideas what could be causing this? I honestly dont know what i could do anymore to narrow down the problem.

1. People have different postures, ive seen pros with the most absurd postures but they still frag like hell. Its all personal unless youre floating upside down or something. 2 & 3. Astronomical would be an understatement, but we all go through that phase where we lower our sensitivities slowly. I suggest you do a slight leap like going down to 10 or 8 or something like that and try to get used to actually moving your arm, it will eventually become a natural thing.

BF1 gets boring after 10-20 hours due to limited amounts of content and depth. I have 20 hours in BF1 and over 250 in Overwatch, i think that tells enough.

First time this has ever happened to me. No matter which AA setting the game crashes as soon as i try to leave the pause menu. I tried to force MSAA through the AMD settings but they dont seem to work in AC4. Suggestions? AC4 isnt a nice looking game without AA because of all the foliage and such so this kinda leaves a bad taste to my mouth. It used to work with my old GPUs (R7 260x, R9 380) just fine but now with the RX 580 it doesnt.

So i dont have any of the dlc for skyrim which i need for certain mods such as ELFX so what would be the cheapest way to get all the dlc? Obviously i could just go ahead and buy them individually but im not sure if theres some sort of cheaper upgrade pack or something? Also how is the new legendary edition of skyrim performance wise? The 64 bit upgrade will surely help modding but i want to get the best performance possible with a large active mod library (100+ at the very least) and i only have a RX 580 with 4GB video memory so i have to be careful with my mod choices and such.

To me BF1 ended up being the same experience as Battlefront: Play for 10 hours and never touch again. I am quite disappointed as i have poured at least 300+ hours to BF3 and 4.
