  1. Yes I figured it would be overkill, but I'm really just looking for a practical way to have physical control over my different audio channels. If there is a more "consumer" level mixer that could accomplish this, I'd go with that.
  2. That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for. Nice to have XLR with Phantom power so I can ditch the separate mic preamp and the usb interface rather then a bunch of wires. Only thing is it's quite expensive compared to some of the other "mixers" I've been looking at. That said, I'm not sure how to setup another mixer with multiple "outputs" like I want and this just does that for you. I've tried learning some of this stuff but short of just buying shit and dicking around I just find myself confused and frustrated. In the end this very well may be what I go with.
  3. I've used the Voice meter mixer for a while to mix my sound from my mic, voice chat and game but what I've found is that adjusting my sounds while streaming is quite annoying. What I want to do is to keep my audio on seperate channels and then have "mixer" that I can manually change the volume of those channels as I need. Sort of like the "mix amps" that astro / turutle beach do but instead of 2 audio channels I need more like 3 or 4. Really trying to step up my audio game here I'm just not sure if I'm on the right track or not. Would something like the "Yamaha MG06 6-Input Compact Stereo Mixer" accomplish this?
  4. Not sure what CL is. I'm tryi g to get a board for my 4770k. So it has to be a Intel 1150. My hope is I could get back in action for around 150 CAD or less. Been looking at local listing but there not a lot of pc parts traded around here.
  5. I wish but I can't wait any longer, I miss gaming.
  6. Yeah I noticed that they seem to be a reputable ebay seller. Might try to go about it that way, had trouble getting decent shipping on eBay though. Also I pisted on the ltt classified just Incase someone had a s look are they might part with for a reasonable price.
  7. 4770k. Yeah my issue is I can't just do a mobo CPU upgrade because I'd be moving up to ddr4 ram too and its just not something I can afford right now.
  8. Never had problems with a hit keyboard. Now a mouse that bitch can get uncomfortable after a long intense session. Water cool my mouse!
  9. What a beaut. I eat at my comouter sometimes so I can't go more than a year without cleaning.
  10. Can't afford a new machine. My computer has been down almost 5 months becuase I just can't afford to. If I can get it up and running again for 150 bucks then that would be great.
  11. My mother board has died and I'm in the market for a new one. Since it's an older generation I have to go used and while searching the net I've come accrossed a buissness called SPCP. Their prices are quite good but I've never purchased used hardware before so I don't know if they are reputable or not. Anyone every do buissness with them?
  12. So back in 2014 I built my gaming rig and used a MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87. 8 months later I started having problems with it. My usb ports stopped working after windows booted. After doing some research I decided that even though it was under warranty after paying for shipping in Canada and waiting for an rma I would just buy a new one... So I purchased a MSI MSI Gaming Z97-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z97. It has served me well until a few days ago when it started causing my computer to rapidly turn on and off. I used the old board to confirm the z97 was in fact the problem. My problem now is tracking down a replacement. Is it worth trying to send away a board for refurbishment? If so who would be best to do such work? The cheapest boards I can find online are $175+ refurbished and most are closer to $250. I just wish I could find someone with an old board kicking around but I asked all my fellow nerds with no luck. Just looking for advice guys thanks...
  13. My specs Gtx 760 is about 3 years old about a month ago I started doing this. I can be doing anything, gaming, browsing the net of watching a youtube video and boom all my screens go black. No matter ho long I wait they do not come back on. Tried alt + win+ ctrl + shift b I hear the beep but nothing happens. Event viewer shows the driver crash then recover. I have updated graphics drivers, rolled back graphics drivers and every time I think I've got it fixed a couple days later boom crashes again. I Turned off my cpu overclock as well just in case... Need some ideas for things to check. Thanks in advance guys.
  14. Well its started happening again windows updated last night and now my problem is back.
