  1. I would agree but apparently they work properly on other computers.
  2. You said you updated the drivers, but did you try uninstalling them and installing them fresh? And have you tried USB ports that you know are driven by separate controllers? Try in a USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 or vice versa, and also try your front panel ports. I am doubtful it is a software issue, it seems like something related to your USB power delivery.
  3. It will work "fine" as in it won't be incompatible. There may be operations the GPU is capable of doing that the CPU can't keep up with, but if your refresh rate is 60 then this is all irrelevant. Your display won't show more than 60 frames per second and having higher framerates than that will cause verticle tearing if you don't keep VSYNC enabled. Any FPS above your displays actual capability are wasted and you are better off locking your framerate at 60.
  4. What is the refresh rate of your display? It may be cpu "bottlenecking", a 1080 with an r5 1600 is a little bit imbalanced.
  5. I don't remember changing any bios settings, and I updated the bios to the latest version to no avail. I will check fast boot when I get home, thank you both for your insight!
  6. I have an i7 4770 and a Gigabyte z97mx gaming 5 mobo, along with an ROG GTX 1070. Since transplanting my system to a Mastercase Pro 3, the system only posts every other time. After I shut the computer down, it will fail to post the first time. The second time, it posts no problem. Memcheck returned no issues, and my boot drive is less than a year old. Is this a dying mobo? Nothing else is affected, just the post issue. Am I the only one?
