  1. title. pros and cons vs. using your ISP DNS?
  2. Now I can create a virtual disk with 20 GB, and operate Windows XP on the virtual box, whiling computing on my Windows 7. Amazing. Lol.
  3. The game I'm trying to run has already patched vmware so that you can't use it to run two instances of the game. I need another work around.
  4. I've tried a couple of software that allows me to turn my PC to share with another user. The problem is that it wouldn't allow the host to see what is going on with the other workstation. Does anyone know of a simplified and easy software that allows a user to turn one PC to share with two users? I'm not sharing my PC with another person, with another monitor. What I'm trying to do is to run the multiple instances of the same game. Switching users would work, but some games won't allow this, and have already patched it. I need another work around. Also note, VMware won't do. I've tried programs like SoftxPad, but the program doesn't allow you to switch workstation to see what the monitor of the other users.
  5. As of lately, I've been hearing a lot of weird noises when I turn on my GPU fan. The noise isn't from the fan itself, it's generating from something else. I decided to turn on the GPU fan, open the case, and mess around. It seems that when I press on the end of the GPU card, the noise stop. And, when I press the PCI-e power connector into the R9, the noise stop. Further testing, I excluded that it wasn't a mounting issue, but something awfully weird going on with my Corsair CX600M and R9 290. As if, my PSU is struggling to supply the R9 enough power. Further messing around, and taking things apart, putting it back together, higher the speed of my GPU fan... There seems to be a weird cranking noise for roughly 2 seconds when the fan is turned up to higher fan speed. Please note again, it's not the fan of the GPU. The noise is coming from something else. And I'm just not sure what it is. I'm afraid it's my PSU sucking really bad, and the R9 is struggling to get enough power to do what it needs to do. The noise gets really bad when turn up the fan speed and gaming. Any one could help solve? I'll try to record the noise and post it here soon.
  6. I was thinking this for a while. And then I finally realize and came to the conclusion why they would give Windows 10 for free to whoever can upgrade their PC. It forces the hand of developers to make software and hardware compability with Windows 10. Already, I'm receiving updates on my AMD drivers as of this morning, and I'm sure it has to do with Windows 10. With more developers having their hands on Windows 10, it gives user access to use Windows 10 as their OS and platform of choice. In turn, this will almost naturally defeat the competition because why would you want to build or develop anything on any other OS, when you already have Windows 10 and you got it for free? I really like to believe, because of this move by Microsoft, maybe it'll force Apple to release some of their platform and software for free or for a free upgrade. I'm not sure if they already did or have, but yea, cool stuff.
  7. I'm a christian. So the idea has always been with me spiritually. Not sure about anything else that you're doing, but yea, seems rather strange. But besides that, scientifically, fasting has been proven to help the body at a pace that never has been seen before. It's the best way to go about cleansing your body. Biblically speaking, Jesus spoke about fasting and how power it is, to fast and to pray. "This kind doesn't come forth only by fasting and prayer." Seems rather strange to people who think without eating would cause instant death. Matter of fact, you can survive longer than 3 days without water.
  8. Believe it or not. One of the healthiest thing you can do for yourself, is actually to take a break from eating, called fasting. Just as much as your body work day to day, it also needs to rest and stop working. This allows your body to cleanse itself, and get back to where it needs to be. To start eating healthy, you can always try lentil soup, which only cost roughly $5.00 to $10.00 depending where you live. And it last you for about 1 week. That is jus amazing stuff. Since you already have kidney beans, you can boil them to make it tender, and mix it in with your salad, with feta cheese, salmon, olive, and don't be shy about adding new vegetables to the mix. If salad are boring, and doesn't hold your appettite. You can always do fruit juicing, or vegetable juicing. Even a fruit smoothie can make your day feel bright. For vegetable juicing, you can mix in some spring baby mix which cost roughly $5.00 around my area at Krogers, or at almost any super market. Mix em' with 1 lemon, 1 or 2 apples, 2 carrots, and 1 cut chop of ginger. Add some chia seeds to the mix to give yourself a very well protein healthy vegetable drink. If the above doesn't fit your style, you can always go the russel sprout route. Bake them in the oven, sprinkle some olive oil on top, and wait until they are crispy and crunchy. They make for a very awesome taste snack. If that doesn't fit your appettite. Then you can try the healthy garic bread route. Mix in olive oil with your own chopped out garlic, mix it in a sauce pan in slimmer heat, and brush it over your healthy bread, bake in the over at 425 degrees F, and enjoy. If that doesn't taste too good for you. Then the old almond butter on with apples or bread can do the trick.
  9. Salmon, Feta Cheese, Salad, everything on top. <3.
  10. http://cointelegraph.com/news/112097/bitcoinfail-top-10-failures-in-bitcoin-history Companys in bankruptcy. Every one of them have very similar background as to why it shutdown or filed by bankruptcy, "missing BTC, gone missing, owner disappears with 1,150 BTC and can't be found." I'm sure all these companys like MtGox and all of these missing BTC, has nothing to do with actually missing BTC from hackers. There's a lot of rich con artist right now. Especially because there's no regulation on virtual income, how exactly are these con artist going to be arrested?
  11. 1 bitcoin is roughly $296 USD as of today. And I wonder if that price would ever go back up. It did from $100, and investing in 10k, would it be wise? Who else invested in buying Bitcoins? I am thinking about selling my services for bitcoin also.
  12. Hmm.. well i don't know if it'll last forever. But, to have a currency that isn't dedicated by banksters and regulations, seems rather nice. but the work to get some bitcoin, seems very taunting. who would be willing to invest in $3,000 in equipment that might fail within the next 2-3 months or so because the difficulty increased? just seems very risky. i dont know who made big bucks investing in bitcoin in the 2015 era. If you invested during the 2011-2013 era, then you definitely made profit. but as to profitable gains now, i just don't see it happening. just a scary thought to invest in something, that might just disappear into thin air the next moment. and all of your $10,000.00 bought bitcoin would probably be worth less to nothing.
  13. But I'm understanding to why it has value now. It's because people are willing to buy and use real commodities to get it. Just as much as someone willing to buy virtual money in a game, they'll stake $300 just for that fake virtual currency in a game. Same goes for Bitcoin, and thus, it has value because people are willing to buy and trade with it. What a shock that someone would be willing to give fake virtual currency value.
  14. Gold has value because it can be used. It was precious metal, and it was rare. Bitcoin can't be used, it was made up, just like someone made up about the boogey man. How exactly are you going to take boogey man, and make profit out of it, and why would you even want to use it to trade for goods? How exactly did bitcoins become profitable and something that other companys are willing to trade for?
  15. There was a long process that took place before the American dollar came to what it is. At one point in history, it was backed up by gold. There was a big fight until people finally accepted the idea of having a piece of paper be used for trading in the form of gold. Of course, that time has changed, and the dollar has a lesser value than what it was before, but the idea is that it's still backed up by gold. So it's understabable to why the dollar has value. But as to Bitcoin, it has none. It's like someone just made up a game to allow virtual coins, and all of a sudden, it was accepted as currency into the air.
  16. I can't compute in my head for the life of me, how exactly can something like this be treated as currency? It's not backed by gold, it's not backed up by anything. How exactly does Bitcoin have value on the market, when it's just a game that player "mine" to get on the internet? What gives Bitcoin its value on the market, for companys like Overstock and Amazon to allow user to buy items with it? How exactly is it that Bitcoin can be exchanged for USD when it has no value, it absolute is nothing and is just virtual? In my head, it's like someone just won 10 Putt Putt tokens, and he can use that token to buy goods. Can someone please explain the concept of how exactly Bitcoin has value?
  17. You're saying the same thing. You can't Q next to rapture to go behind the wall. It doesn't work like that. Rapture ==NO==> Wall Wall ==OKAY==> Rapture
  18. That's not true. You can't Q infront of enemies to go behind a wall or structure. You can only Q behind wall into a camp/minion.
  19. Guys. I want some tips on the video quality, editing, and how to add covers. Not the actual game play, T.T I want to improve my video editing and what can I do to make this video more appealing and "funny" or public interest?
  20. Okay. So this is my first video. I'm just practicing now, but this is a short clip from a recent game I just played. Also, every time I export the video, the video and audio increases in tempo (making it sound like a chipmunk.) I don't know how to fix it. ------------ --------------- Also please comment on how the video resolution looks, is it watchable, what can I work on, etc...
  21. I love to sign up. Reason: You know, I can describe a lot of reasons why I think I should have it. But honestly, I love to let others enjoy the benefits of a new graphics card. As for myself, I love it also, dealing with low end graphic cards all my life, it's very hard to play certain games that I've always wanted to try out. I don't have a lot of income for a brand new build of a PC. I ran my old Year 2000 PC for almost 10 years, and swapping parts back and forth, and only having 24 GB max. Having a graphic card at that high end would lower the cost of building a new PC dramatically. But I've always been the type to look at the needs of others. So, if there's any body else who would appreciate the card more, and need it more than I, then I am welcome to give up my spot. Other wise, I would also love a chance at it.
  22. My hopes of getting a remake of the game was almost depleted. Counter strike was no where close to the joy and level of play of Rogue Spear. The game was my first FPS, and the most enjoyed of all times. Finally, in 2016, a remake is on the way. The creators of Rogue Spear, has joined up with Black Foot Gaming, to bring us Ground Branch. A hardcore style game just like Rogue Spear, and some visual updates, at the same time, keeping it very classic. It's finally almost here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=196&v=9-5OCochqDk
  23. Should of bought it from me. Lol.
  24. How much did you spend on your rig? Ultimately I was only suppose to spend $650 on my rig with mail and rebate. But I was so lazy to even do it, and end up losing 150 dollars or so.
