  2. even I think it was on wan show but i cant remember on which one.
  3. Hi guys, Can someone provide me the link to the video where linus says that watching videos at 60fps is a myth and he had upscaled a 30fps video to 60fps and no one noticed it. Thank you
  4. I think I will buy Asus ROG PG278Q.
  5. Finally got the motherboard replaced. Asus took almost 2 months for the replacement. Test for an hour last night it was working fine. Hope this one lasts. Thank you guys for all the support and help.
  6. Hi guys, I am confused between Asus ROG Swift PG278Q and Asus PB287Q. The confusion is mainly because I am hearing now a days all the game developers are locking the games at 60fps so getting a 144hz monitor will be a waste of money I think. I also wanted to know how 1080p movies will scale up on 1440p and on 4k. Will they look the same on both monitors or will the 1080p look better in 4k than in 1440p as 4k is exactly 4 times the 1080p as most of the content till date is in 1080p I have one Asus GTX 980 DirectCU II and I can buy another for SLI if required.
  7. Also I want to know what must have went wrong that this thing happened. I don't want it to happen again. I dont think it must be the fan or anything because everything is working now except that socket. And also the NZXT Cam software is now not working I dont know why.
  8. Yes it is x99 Rampage V Extreme I know the chances of RMA are very low in India but I cannot afford another new board. Is it possible for asus to reapir it if I pay some small amount of that particular part only

  10. The motherboard is Asus Rampage V Extreme and PSU is Corsair AX1200i. Both are brand new and was used for the first time. I am from India and I have heard from people that the warranty doesnt work when something is burnt or blew out.
  11. But I didnot OC it and according to my knowledge I installed it properly in my case Corasir 750D which has standoffs built-in.
  12. No I dont have the sautering iron but I do have the mosfet which popped out of the motherboard. I will be posting an image in sometime of the mosfet and the place where it burnt from.
  13. Hi guy, I got a new PC. I assembled it and when I powered it on for the first time there was a spark and one of the MOSFET of my motherboard blew out. It litrally blew out of the motherboard and fell on the floor. But the PC did start normally. The mosfet was little below the CPU Fan pin. Once the mother board started it gave CPU fan error. I had plugged my NZXT Kraken x61 in it which didnot work so i had to shut down immediately and put the Kraken in the CPU Optional Fan header in which it worked. Now whenever I start my PC it gets stuck at CPU Fan error before windows loads up. So then I put one of my chassis fan in cpu fan to see if it boots but the chassis fan also stopped working and still it did not boot. Then I changed the boot priority to Disk and it did boot to my windows on my HDD after skipping the "Press any key to Boot fromm CD/DVD" screen. Now the motherboard is working fine except the CPU Fan header and sometimes the NZXT CAM software not reading temperatures correctly and I cannot change the fan speed and led light color till I restart. I will be giving the Motherboard in warranty. But I want to know if there was any of my mistake of I just got a bad product and also the NZXT CAM software problem is a hardware issue or software issue. Thank You
