  1. So I got around to do your suggestion of removing the top fan and it dropped 4C. I also tested it with and without the top cover. Top cover Off, same as before, Top cover On, same temp as removed fan. So I removed the fan and added the top. Thanks
  2. He was more concerned with treats. He doesn't really get on top of running case, this one is more under a desk. I have a Meshify C with no top filter, it's very clean, so I'm not worried about it. If it does become a problem though I have some Demci filters that I can probably use.
  3. I'll check it out when I do a cleaning in a month or so, thanks.
  4. Did some searching, found out that the Noctua D15 fits in the Nano S. Nice! This is a gaming PC that is part of another build built in a new case with a few new things. Previous BUILD! I don't like them at all. I remove the front USB and Audio cables to help with space Everything will be left at stock Sirius helped a little
  5. My layout is 2x120 in from with Corsair H105, 2x120 on top because at the time I had a Bluray rom so that is what I could fit, 1x120 on back and 1x140 on bottom. The bottom 140 was mainly because it is a Noctua fan and I didn't want the money I spent on it to feel like it was just sitting there. They are all Noctua fans though. I can't really tell you the temps with/without and having different areas because I don't want to move them around for science but I don't have any temp issues. Your layout would be better because you don't have hard drives and a rad blocking air flow. I don't know about that 2nd bottom one though, I personally wouldn't do it. You can always just experiment of course.
  6. Nothing new, nothing upcoming that I can see. Boring!!

there is nothing no new and cool tech that I want that is coming out besides the black Noctua coolers and fan hub but we don't have an eta on those.

The only thing that I need to save up for is storage, because I'm running low. I have no reason to do a new build because I don't need one so it's really boring! xD

  7. I think that I have posted all of my builds, no real updates going on at the moment. Boring!

  8. Thanks I just have been on a EVGA kick lately. I think that price was something as well, but I can't remember. Definitely no issues with the Corsair you would buy.
  9. He was mainly gaming, eventually he started to record his gameplay, then lastly he got an Elgato card. If you mean why did he "upgrade" from FX-8350 to FX-8370? I just don't know. I told him it was the same CPU but overclocked a few and he wanted it anyways. He wanted something new when it comes to the GPU stuff. lol I didn't have to play on it I build for a friend and he didn't seem to have any issues, I wanted to start him off on a FX-6100 but budget didn't allow at that time.
  10. I render my blurays, do some basic editing, some single player gaming and use for a plex server. Future Plans More storage! I want to get 2x6TB or 8TB drives to add Waiting on new Noctua Fan hub Waiting on new Noctua D15 Black CPU Cooler Would like to get different RAM and will need to with the D15 MORE PICTURES *I did remove the bluray drive to make external since I don't need it that often and put the fan controller on top. I also added a 140mm Noctua fan on the bottom to add more air, even though it was just fine before. I wish that I remembered to take more pictures of the building but I guess I was distracted and in a hurry to get it done for whatever reason, and just completely forgo
  11. Built this PC a long time ago for someone, it has been through a lot and seen horrors but it was nice for that time being, way back then. Decided to show the road leading up to, like everyone else upgrading from the FX series trying to find a better path while sticking with AMD. 12. Just wanted to share, not too many pictures, basic build here, nothing too fancy. I am thinking of switching up some colors around my desk station, need something different than all black. I will start by getting a White Meshify C soon.
