  1. So it would scale up automatically on the Windows? or Would I half to manually increase it?
  2. I have a Mac Mini 2011 Server that is Dual booted to Windows via EFI and using a few bootcamp drivers. I have recently Increased the amount of Vram to my graphics card {Intel HD 3000} by changing the ".kext" files from 512 MB to 2048 MB. http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/how-to-increase-vram-for-hd3000-graphics.1766384/ I was wondering if this would be carried over to the Windows OS side? The reason I ask this is becuase I have done it in the past and figured it would carrie over. Due to OSX Sierra resting the change I had made previously {in Mavericks} and resting in back to 512 MB. But what shocked me is when I checked my dedcated Memory on Windows and it only read 32 MB.
  3. Yea I was just wondering because I already have a Mac Mini with Osx and EFI booted to windows 10 ( Basically skipping the boot camp process.) and thought about adding Linux to it.
  4. So after some thought and looking through the web I was wondering what type of computer would run Linux the best? As in would a Mac computer using duel-boot operate Linux better then a home built or store bought computer that was previously running Windows. The reason I am guessing is because mac's are Unix based and booth Linux and OSX are Unix based. So would the hardware in Mac computer be more optimized for Linux?
  5. I noticed something My firewall for the router was set for medium but steam works on low. But is Listed as allowed serves with medium firewall setting's.
  6. Its on Both sides but started on windows, I have already restarted my router and mcafee is not the problem.
  7. As of 2 days ago my connection to Game servers has been a problem. I can not connect to and Game servers or any game Clients. Including World of Tanks, Halo pc & ce, Steam, Evolved, and Xfire. I already Bye passed my firewall which is Mcafee and a tempted a system restore. I also just noticed that the problem extends to my Primary OS (i.e. Dual Boot Computer). I can how ever still surf the web and it only is affecting my computer. I believe something like this happened before and I just reinstalled Steam and it was fixed but this time it did not. My specs is a Mac Mini Server 2011 with the Quad core running Yosemite and Windows 64-bit via EFI or Native Boot.

  9. Get a Mid 2011 Mac Min Server with the i7 Quad core. But the mac pro may be a better option with the each arrangements.
  10. I was looking at this http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=696523 I heard that it was an old mac pro trick. It basically starts out as a disappointment in this thread but about page 40 I think light starts to show. Edit; More Like page 9 it starts and then closer to the end I think more people come and explain.
